While in case of the Lunar analemma the Moon takes 27.321 days to complete the same figure-8 pattern. As the Moon lags the Sun by 50 min 29 seconds to complete its daily circuit, timelapse is taken with 50 min, 29 sec delay for each successive day.
Analemma represents the yearly & monthly conical circuit of the Sun & the Moon respectively, bound between the tropic of Cancer & the Capricorn. This yearly path of the Sun between the tropics cause seasons.
