These mooring stations were far from uncommon and was on top of many structures as well. I did a video on the Medina in Chicago that had one they said was just decorative and not actually used because they didn’t discover until I guess everyone else built one on top of buildings that it was just too darn windy. Something I think I would have tested before investing so much work in a complicated and advanced piece of architecture… the coolest part of these mooring stations is they seemed to also have temporary ones where they can set up and unload the passengers and tare it back down with ease in any field. These would have been amazing to see in the skies
