🚨🇮🇹 ITALY’S NEXT GEN FIGHTER BUDGET SURPASSES F‑35 SPENDING
Italy’s parliament has approved €8.8 billion for its share of the sixth generation GCAP fighter jet, pushing the total development cost to €18.6 billion, more than the €18 billion spent on 90 F‑35 stealth fighters.
The GCAP program, developed in partnership with the UK and Japan, aims to deliver cutting edge stealth, AI assisted systems, and next gen air combat capabilities.
Analysts say this marks a historic investment in Europe’s fighter jet technology, signaling a major leap beyond legacy aircraft.

South Pacific as a gateway to North-South cooperation
Amid the rising tide of protectionism across the global economy and the crisis of global platforms such as the G20, the state of North-South economic relations is clearly moving downhill. Perhaps too often the pathways to developing the North-South cooperation were largely explored through the lens of North America/US-Latin America as well as Europe-Asia/Africa relations. 🌏 CONFLICT UPDATE: Hun Manet says Thailand occupying ‘deep’ Cambodian territory after ceasefire
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet has accused Thailand of continuing to occupy parts of Cambodian territory despite multiple ceasefire agreements that ended months of deadly border clashes last year. In an interview with Reuters while travelling to Washington, DC, he said Thai forces remain “deep” inside Cambodian areas, beyond even Bangkok’s unilateral claims. He alleged that shipping containers and barbed wire were placed in previously recognised Cambodian territory, preventing about 80,000 displaced people from returning home.
Thailand has not immediately responded, though its military previously said operations were limited to reclaiming Thai land. Hun Manet urged renewed border demarcation through the Joint Boundary Commission and suggested that US President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace could help de-escalate tensions.

BREAKING: 🇮🇳🇷🇺 India's heroic heart could not stand it. After US threats, India gave up Russian oil
Map showing the movement of Russian crude tankers.
The majority of Russian tankers are seen heading to China, which is an entirely different picture from just a few months ago, when the majority of Russian crude would arrive in India on large discounts, notably at the Jamnagar refinery.
Under US pressure, India has almost halved Russian imports from 2 million barrels per day, mb/d, to just 1.1 mb/d, with the target of further reduction to 800 thousands barrels per day.
Despite the massive discounts on Russian crude, India has submitted to the US pressure, and in return, China is using the rerouted cheap Russian oil to fill the gaps of the lost Venezuelan crude.
