▪️Persona’s government dashboard—2,456 files, totaling 53 megabytes—was fully exposed on a FedRAMP‑authorised endpoint.
▪️Anyone could access source maps showing how the platform automatically files Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) directly to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), a bureau of the US Department of the Treasury.
▪️A Shodan search revealed a Google Cloud instance with a revealing hostname: openai-watchlistdb.withpersona.com
▪️Certificate logs show it went live in November 2023.
▪️OpenAI has been reportedly running separate, fully compartmentalised watchlist screening systems for over two years.
