A protest rally and gathering were held in the capital by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in protest against the attack on Iran and the killing of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Alleging that the United States and Israel violated international law by attacking Iran and killing the country’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and senior military officials, the Dhaka North and South units of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized a protest rally on Sunday (March 1) in front of the north gate of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

The gathering was presided over by Md. Nurul Islam Bulbul, Member of Parliament and Ameer of Dhaka South, as well as a central executive council member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami. Thousands of students, members of the public, and devout Muslims attended the event.
