Whispers of My Heart

I’m not sure what I really want in life.
Some days, it feels like nothing at all.
Other days, I want everything—
love, belonging, a place to rest my soul.

Maybe it’s someone to hold my hand,
a friend who never leaves,
a home that feels safe,
a call that makes me smile.

Sometimes I just wish for a day
where my tears can fall freely,
a sky wide enough for my dreams,
a chance to fix old mistakes,
or even a little bit of luck.

I long for a path made for me,
for friendships that last,
for the courage to let go
of people I’ve lost along the way.

Someday the pieces will fall in place,
someday the answers will come.
Until then, I’ll keep walking gently,
trusting life is still teaching me how to grow.

And maybe I don’t need to have it all,
maybe just a little is enough—
a smile, a whisper, a moment of peace,
to remind me I’m still moving forward.
