Have been looking at birth related statistics in England and Scotland - everyone of them looks bad - here is the annual rate of change in births via NHS digital - the figure are negative June 2022 and July 2022

Here is monthly births for Scotland compared last 4 years by month - June 2022 (black line) lowest ever recorded since 1855

Here are neonatal deaths per 1,000 births in Scotland - peaking in September 2021 and March 2022 and falling outside the control limits - but NOT during 2020

I found this statistic to be pretty amazing - this is reduction in hip replacements 2020 v 2019 - England was by FAR the largest drop - so patients really were thrown under the bus to "Protect the NHS" when compared to other countries.
