Acting on a source input regarding suspicious activity at SKR Hospital, Sujanpur, Military Intelligence [MI] conducted a prompt verification of the premises.

A joint team, in coordination with Punjab Police, carried out checks as per standard operating procedures. During the initial verification, certain suspicious digital indicators were observed, leading to deeper inquiry.

As part of due process, two individuals, Ritesh Singh and Anju Devi, were taken in for detailed questioning and verification. Their mobile phones and associated digital devices have been secured and sent for technical and forensic examination to assess contacts and communication patterns.

At this stage, the case is being treated as precautionary and remains under investigation.

Preliminary findings indicate that Ritesh Singh was radicalised by Pakistan-based handlers, encouraged to convert to Islam, and tasked with conducting reconnaissance of military garrisons in Jammu and Samba. He is believed to have successfully carried out the recce and shared photos and videos with handlers across the border.

During active combat operations along the Thailand–Cambodia border, a Royal Thai Army VT-4 Main Battle Tank suffered a catastrophic failure of its 125 mm main gun barrel.

⚠️ Visual evidence confirms complete barrel rupture, rendering the tank combat-ineffective. The incident occurred under sustained, high-rate firing conditions during frontline engagement. No enemy fire has been confirmed as the cause so far. A technical inquiry has been initiated by Thai authorities.
