We constantly talk about everyday thinking. And perhaps some of you still don't quite understand what we're talking about.

Everyday thinking is a type of thinking that operates in life with ideas, concepts, and beliefs based on strict rationalism and ignoring the subtle, unmanifested part of a person and the world as a whole. Examples of everyday thinking concepts: "I am the center of the world," "you must fight for your place in the sun," "the strong outshine the weak—that's the law," "if you want to live, you have to be able to attack and defend," and similar misconceptions.

The danger of everyday thinking is that it creates a clear image of ourselves that resists change or even criticism. This image is forced to carry us throughout our entire lives—from birth to the first cry at our funeral. We see ourselves and the world in a single image, perceiving only one version of who we are. This image is called our "personal history." Our personal history has filled us with stereotypes, and not a single cubic millimeter of inner space remains to accommodate anything new. From this point on, life seems gray, dull, and meaningless.

This is what don Juan says about fullness to Castaneda.

" There's an enormous premium on time," he continued. "For sorcerers in general, time is of the essence. The challenge I am faced with is that in a very compact unit of time I must cram into you everything there is to know about sorcery as an abstract proposition, but in order to do that I have to build the necessary space in you."
"What space? What are you talking about, don Juan?"
"The premise of sorcerers is that in order to bring something in, there must be a space to put it in," he said. "If you are filled to the brim with the items of everyday life, there's no space for anything new. That space must be built. "

Everyday thinking, through personal history and incessant internal dialogue, has filled us to the brim and left our lives empty. Now, more than ever, in this age of technology and access to information, we must:

1. Eliminate the excess in our lives;
2. Fill ourselves with new ideas, a new vision, and an understanding of our subtle, unmanifested self. We must remember the nagual.

These approaches will gently guide us to the need to develop a different type of thinking that would support our everyday life in the best possible way and harmoniously integrate interaction with the nagual into our lives. This type of thinking is called Magical.

We all need Power. This has become a truism of our times, something that needs no proof. After all, without Power, we become powerless and unable to cope with the ordinary challenges of everyday life.

But here's the question: "How to attract Power?"

Here we must first answer: what is "Power" anyway? After all, its presence is at our fingertips, its necessity in life is obvious, but it's not so easy to say what Power actually is.

Let's ask the old Nagual, Friends?

Power is something a warrior deals with... At first, it seems to a person something completely incredible, unnatural, the existence of which is impossible to believe, difficult even to think about, much less imagine. Right now, you find yourself in precisely this relationship with it. But then it transforms into something serious, and your attitude toward it changes accordingly. A person may not possess it, they may not even be fully aware of its existence, but they already sense it, they already know—there's something in the world they've previously overlooked. And then the power makes itself known, it comes to the person, and they can't do anything about it, because for them, the power remains uncontrollable. There are no words to describe how it comes or what it truly is. It's nothing, and yet it can perform miracles, and the person sees these miracles with their own eyes. And finally, the power becomes something inherent to the person themselves, transforming into something that controls their actions from within and at the same time obeys their commands, is subject to their decisions.

It turns out that a person lives their ordinary life, unaware of the Power. Later, they begin to interact with the Power, becoming aware of its influence on life. But at this stage, the person still feels separate from the Power. Anyone who has come into contact with it cannot help but recognize the presence of Power in life as the integral foundation upon which all everyday life is built. Then, Power becomes the person themselves, and they cease to separate themselves from Power, becoming a part of it. Thus comes freedom from perceptual patterns, from judgments, from the predator and the sense of self-importance.

But how to summon Power? We still haven't found the answer to this question.

Patience... The old Nagual has the answer to this question, too.

...A warrior is a hunter of power. And I am teaching you how to hunt it and how to accumulate it. And you've encountered a problem common to us all—the problem of conviction. You must firmly believe that personal power exists, that it can be used and accumulated...The hunt for power is a very interesting and strange thing. First, an idea, then a tuning, and then—bam! It happened!..

— What should I do?
— Nothing. Act as you act. Live as you live. Power will find a way to reach you.

Here we encounter such an important concept as "faith." It is faith that attracts Power. So says the old Nagual. But this isn't about religious preferences or other theological conditioning. In the world of sorcerers, faith is a way to attract Power, a method of direct interaction and influence on reality.

There is a magical nexus that reveals three aspects capable of shaping reality: faith—idea—power. Faith is a way to interact with the Spirit, idea is a method of opening the nagual and strengthening the tonal, and power is a way to directly influence the conditioning of life.

Now, in order, what is the practical benefit of this knowledge?

Faith connects you to the source of power. Life is shaped by faith and the power that comes into everyday life spontaneously through human faith. This is a very important and subtle point. Try to understand it. The quality of your life directly depends on the quality of what you believe in (we're not talking about religion, we're not talking about religious beliefs!).

Here's an example. "I believe the world is evil and aggressive." The world becomes like that. "I believe that to live, you need to be a predator." The world turns you these circumstances. "I believe that the Force will support me." The world extends a helping hand, and circumstances unfold "by themselves." Be extremely careful about what you believe. Your current state of life is the result of your belief that such a model of life is possible.

Idea follows faith. Faith gives birth to ideas. The idea that the world is material and has no energetic origin (there is a tonal, but no nagual) is the result of believing in the exclusive materiality of the world. This is also an important point. The most difficult step on the path of apprenticeship is accepting the idea that the world is not what it seems, that it has many variations. Thus says the old Nagual:

The first act of a teacher is to instill in the student the idea that the world we know is only an appearance, a denoscription of the world. Every effort the teacher makes is aimed at proving this to the student. But accepting this idea is the most difficult thing in the world.

Transformation begins at the level of ideas, through faith!

Strength comes with faith and the idea that it, Strength, exists. A very important point. The quality of the Power that shapes your life is determined by the quality of the ideas you believe in.

Mundane thinking must be replaced with deep/magical thinking, through which a person can understand their Higher Self, their Spirit.

One day, while don Juan and Castaneda were strolling the streets of a small Mexican town, they came across a man who clearly had a drinking problem. He looked unkempt, and his body radiated a sickly expression.

That day, don Juan was explaining to Castaneda the difference between a strong/correct tonal and a weak tonal. As usual, he glanced at Castaneda. Don Juan's eyes were full of fire. He asked, "What can you say about the tonal of the man you see before you?"

Castaneda began describing what he saw: the man was clearly drinking, most likely having many problems, both health-wise and financially... Don Juan interrupted Carlos's story and said, "You're describing this drunkard's state, not his tonal. You assume he's been in trouble and has become weak. You view him as a victim of circumstance. Meanwhile, this man's tonal is weak. But it didn't become weak because he became a drunk. On the contrary, he became a drunk because his tonal is weak."

We were talking about correct character traits that ennoble a person's personality (shape) and allow it to be filled with strength. Good is a technology for accumulating strength and free energy. Therefore, good is a method for strengthening the tonal.

What is a strong and correct tonal?

It is the tonal that the nagual "sees" and "hears." It is the form that can be filled with the nagual's power. Therefore, only in a person with a strong tonal can the nagual be revealed.

This is the law: by strengthening the tonal, we make it "obedient" to the nagual; we free ourselves from the predator, accumulating good within ourselves.

What is a weak tonal?

This is a tonal that is unwilling to "cooperate" with the nagual, with the nagual's power. This is a tonal that is captivated by the predator's consciousness and mundane thinking. It is weak because the predator drains it of every last drop of energy. A person depleted of energy experiences paralysis, self-pity, or a sense of self-importance.

Once, when Carlos Castaneda was puzzled by the point of following the Path of Knowledge, don Juan replied:

I, too, didn't want to embark on the warrior's path. I believed all that work was useless. If we were going to die anyway, what difference did it make whether we died a warrior or not? But I was wrong. However, I had to come to this conclusion on my own. Only when a person is convinced that he is wrong and that the difference is unimaginably vast is he convinced. Hearing this, Castaneda asked don Juan what he called a man of knowledge. The answer came:

One who duly and steadily overcomes all the difficulties of learning. All of them. One who, without haste or delay, goes as far as possible along the path of uncovering the secrets of personal power... The hunt for power is a very interesting and strange thing. First, an idea, then a tuning, and then – bam! It happens!

This means that people, whose ages range primarily from 35 to 65, having secured their financial situation and resolved their social issues, have reached a dead end and developed energy exhaustion. They feel depressed, tired, and hopeless, and don't know how to continue living, and most importantly, why they should live.

This is truly a sad picture. And looking at it, someone with a dominant everyday mindset could become depressed. But in our project, we don't chase depression, we don't react to reality impulsively and superficially, and we don't even strive to "feel good inside and that's it." The path of our project leads us to much greater depths, invisible from the surface of everyday thinking and the captivity of the predator's consciousness. Because these depths lie in eternity itself.

We are moving toward freedom from everyday thinking, toward the unfolding of vision, the development of common sense, and the accumulation of strength and energy. We are moving toward an understanding of who we are, where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going. And therefore, we invite each of you to this journey. As don Juan said, "It is difficult, but not impossible."

Regarding exhaustion and a sense of doom, we see this situation as a challenge. The person was using a worldview of a personality that was subject to everyday thinking. This worldview led to their downfall. You can lament this fact until the end of time, blaming everyone and everything. Or you can accept this as a signal to reexamine your foundations and begin to move toward uncovering a deeper picture of the world, where strength and energy are the foundation of a healthy human life.

Therefore, we often seek a partner not out of an inner calling to create a union, but in accordance with our own ideas about ourselves, our partner, and what we believe a relationship should be.

Applied philosophy teaches that any constructive relationship should be based on friendship. If we want to build a relationship, we must first learn to be friends and become a support system for our partner.

Friendship will provide the relationship with respect. It is on this foundation that healthy romantic feelings will naturally blossom. But if friendship cannot be established, then it is clear that one or both partners are not ready for a serious relationship. It's best not to initiate such an interaction.

The ability to discern. This skill helps you choose the necessary from a variety of options and settle on the best one, the one that will allow you to accumulate energy and personal strength in a given situation.

For a young man, it's essential to understand his own true attitude to a prospective partner. Does he desire a union? Can he become an ally to her? Is his partner ready to enter into such a union? Do both possess the courage, maturity, and willingness to look beyond their partner's form (character, appearance) to see their Higher Self and become their support?

By answering these questions, clarity and understanding will come naturally. Energy and strength will no longer be wasted on illusions and mirages, and resources will be focused on the present and necessary. Again, either the union will take place, or energy and strength will not be wasted on unnecessary "maneuvers" on the road of life.

The ability to concentrate. This skill is the final step in the development of good. Correct thinking allows one to understand the situation, discernment allows one to choose what is necessary and best, and concentration helps one focus one's energies on the chosen best varient.

It may happen that a young man realizes he is ready to enter into a union with his chosen one. In this case, he needs to develop a plan and strategy to convey his intentions to his future companion. Otherwise, he will realize that his attitude to the girl is based on illusions and mirages, and there is nothing genuine or strong. It would be wise not to enter into such a relationship.

By relying on the points of the technology for developing good and kindness described above, anyone can find a way out of any situation and resolve any issue. The goal of developing good is to accumulate energy and restore personal strength.
