JUST IN - Tunisia's President sacked the Prime Minister, dissolved the parliament, suspended the immunity of all deputies, and declares he is assuming executive power following violent unrest and an emergency meeting with armed forces and security services.

Tunisian parliament speaker accuses the president of launching a coup "against the revolution and constitution."

Hundreds in Tunisia celebrated the prime minister's ousting and the sacking of the working government:

The military surrounded the parliament building after the president dismissed PM Mashishi and stripped parliamentarians of their immunity. Airports were closed with lawsuits against 64 deputies who are prohibited from leaving the country, Tunisie Numerique writes.
