A struggle ensued, in which the subject mortally wounded Officer Gonzalez and then shot himself with the officer’s service weapon. Other PFPA officers engaged the subject, who ultimately died at the scene.

Ancient Olympia - the birthplace of the Olympic Games - is threatened by wildfires tearing through Greece.
Around 100 fighters were battling a blaze near Olympia, Greece on Wednesday.
Olympia was ordered evacuated as a precaution, as were other villages nearby.
Meanwhile, at least 150 houses were destroyed by a violent blaze on Evia.
More wildfires near Athens billowed smoke that covered the ancient city.
