This is Phase 2 of the Gaza agreement: reconstruction and transitional governance.

Trump just named his team, and it's stacked with heavy hitters from finance, diplomacy, and regional powers.

The core board includes:

-Secretary of State Marco Rubio

-Envoy Steve Witkoff

-Jared Kushner (Abraham Accords architect, Trump's son-in-law)

-Former UK PM Tony Blair (longtime Middle East envoy)

-World Bank President Ajay Banga, and billionaire Marc Rowan.

The local administration will be led by Ali Sha'ath, a former Palestinian Authority official and Gaza native, heading the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza.

Former UN envoy Nickolay Mladenov becomes High Representative.

The Executive Board brings in regional players: Turkey's Hakan Fidan, UAE's Reem Al-Hashimy, and figures from Qatar and Egypt alongside the Americans and Blair.

Aryeh Lightstone and Josh Gruenbaum will handle day-to-day strategy.

What stands out: this isn't just American.

It's a coalition of Gulf states, Turkey, the World Bank, and Western allies all at the table.

Kushner and Blair both have deep Middle East experience.

The money people are there to fund it.

This is Trump treating Gaza like a real estate development with a board of directors.

Whether that works in a war zone remains to be seen.
