You are invited along to a parliamentary briefing on the new Mortgage Prisoner campaign on Tuesday 27th February, from midday-1:30pm in Room M, PCH.



Chaired by Martin Docherty-Hughes MP, there will be representatives of the Mortgage Prisoners Action Group attending who will provide background to their new campaign as well as victims of this scandal who will give personal testimony to the hardship that they have suffered.



With nearly 200,000 mortgage prisoners across the UK who are still suffering severe financial hardship due to decisions made by the Government and regulator in the course of bailing out the banks following the 2008 global financial crash this is an issue in need of urgent action to address the injustices that they have suffered.



This briefing will provide you with the opportunity to show your support for those affected and call for action to finally bring an end to 16 years of hardship for so many.
