The FDF also said it had successfully lobbied to stop ultra-processed food being mentioned in separate legislation in Scotland. “FDF Scotland’s engagement with the Scottish government ensured the prevention of the term ‘ultra-processed food’ [UPF] being used in the good food nation bill.”

A Western European government (guess which 🥖 ) approached Telegram, asking us to silence conservative voices in Romania ahead of today’s presidential elections. I flatly refused. Telegram will not restrict the freedoms of Romanian users or block their political channels.
You can’t “defend democracy” by destroying democracy. You can’t “fight election interference” by interfering with elections. You either have freedom of speech and fair elections — or you don’t. And the Romanian people deserve both.🇷🇴

On July 28, 1945, a B-25 Mitchell bomber crashed into the Empire State building at the 79th floor. Heavy fog was the major culprit. The two pilots and the passenger on the plane were killed along with 11 people from the building.
