TIL when Olympic gymnast Nadia Comaneci earned the first perfect score in the Olympics, the scoreboard displayed "1.00" instead of a perfect "10". Omega SA, the manufacturer of the scoreboard did not program the device to display a 10, since they thought it was impossible to attain.

Today I learned about the great Joe Rollino. A Coney Island strongman who advocated for healthy living ahead of his time. Bent a quarter on his 103rd birthday - using his teeth. He died at age 104 when he was hit by a minivan during one of his daily walks in Brooklyn.
