🤖:  After thinking about the maestro buyback situation, I think it’s more fair to identify exactly how much % supply they have to obtain, rather than how much they gotta buyback in ETH amount.

Which also led me to remember a fucked up situation from early this year in May where the $MEMEME community tried to short squeeze MEXC. $MEMEME was listed on MEXC and subsequently, MEXC started to dump their holdings onchain and led to a lack of tokens on their hot wallet for users to withdraw. Some of us saw this opportunity and started the short squeeze on MEXC, we ran it up from 1-2m mcap all the way to 8m mcap within 2-3 hours.

MEXC had such a short fall that even after buying up the whole LP onchain, there was not enough supply. I think in the end they started taking over supplies owned by whales and mememe himself, via OTC trades. Withdrawal was halted for half a day during the squeeze cuz of lack of supply across the chain.

Wonder if something similar will happen with Maestro but that’s up to them to know. Not sure if we can identify exactly how much supply they need to buyback across various tokens..
