I got a drop worth about $141 (they valued TON at $3.54, and somehow my MRSOON ended up being worth $27 instead of the real ~$6.5🙂)
I initially invested around 90 TON.

To make it look a little less depressing, let’s calculate the drop purely in TON terms — and ignore the fact that TON wasn't actually around $2.05 back then.

Here’s what I received for my ~90 TON:
15.02 TON
403,409.56 MRSOON (≈ 3.28 TON)
5.76 USDT (≈ 2.81 TON)

I’m not counting the tokens they showed for BMBR or BIT — we’ve already had a case like that with ESX (I’ve still got ~$70 worth “on paper” from the last drop).
The packs from 🪙 CapsGame, worth about ~$19, don’t change much either.

So, locking in a –77% loss (0.23x) in TON 😔😔😔

upd: fine, for the sake of fairness let’s assume that BMBR and BIT are actually in the same room with us and will launch at their stated prices. That adds a whole 29.32 TON to my total. Let’s even go further and pretend that the packs from 🪙 CapsGame actually have some value for me — that’s another 9.3 TON.
So, by theorizing hard enough, I’ve managed to visualize a drop worth 59.73 TON — still just 0.66x 🙂

And yes, that includes the 2.42 TON and 386,243 MRSOON (~4.2 TON) I’d already accumulated earlier from the wheel and loot boxes — so the actual drop was even worse🍷

🍦 My takeaways from the October gift upgrades

I had some🎁 Ice Cream and 🎁 Faith Amulet. I sold everything slowly, without rushing. I could have dumped them faster, and maybe in pure $ terms it would’ve turned out even better. Some of it I sold in early November — basically almost everything, except the 🍦 Bitecoin model, which just sold recently. I converted everything to USD using the current TON rate (~$1.83).

When the gifts first started hitting the market, the numbers looked like this:
🎁 Ice Cream (1.36x)
Price incl. upgrade — 125⭐️ ($1.88)
Floor price — 1.18 TON (~$2.7)

🎁 Faith Amulet (1.61x)
Price incl. upgrade — 125⭐️ ($1.88)

У меня же вышло:
1.71x on 🎁 Ice Cream, current floor 1.25 TON (~$2.29)

For me, that’s the end of the story with mass gift upgrades — I stopped buying them exactly at the Ice Cream stage. Now I’ll just keep flipping on Portals [post]. And from the flip profit, I’ll slowly buy back the models I personally like.

On Portals today is the last day of trading without fees, and the last day of Season 1. Less than 4 hours left to buy/sell gifts with zero commission.
