🍦 My takeaways from the October gift upgrades

I had some🎁 Ice Cream and 🎁 Faith Amulet. I sold everything slowly, without rushing. I could have dumped them faster, and maybe in pure $ terms it would’ve turned out even better. Some of it I sold in early November — basically almost everything, except the 🍦 Bitecoin model, which just sold recently. I converted everything to USD using the current TON rate (~$1.83).

When the gifts first started hitting the market, the numbers looked like this:

Price incl. upgrade — 125⭐️ ($1.88)
Floor price — 1.18 TON (~$2.7)

For me, that’s the end of the story with mass gift upgrades — I stopped buying them exactly at the Ice Cream stage. Now I’ll just keep flipping on Portals [post]. And from the flip profit, I’ll slowly buy back the models I personally like.

On Portals today is the last day of trading without fees, and the last day of Season 1. Less than 4 hours left to buy/sell gifts with zero commission.

🤔 Freeman’s sticker sale is being pushed to tomorrow.

The schedule stays the same — everything just shifts by one day.

This decision was made because the Cloudflare outage took down TON API and a bunch of other critical services.

If you deposited into the Elephant Store and nothing showed up — that’s exactly because Cloudflare is down. The transactions are on-chain, and the deposits should arrive once the services come back online.

Honestly, this might even be for the better. The Mr.Freeman should be able to finish sending WL notifications before the sale starts, finally clearing up the uncertainty (to be honest, I still have no clue whether I have WL or not).

It’s unclear when Cloudflare will fully recover, but hopefully soon. Otherwise, if things are still down tomorrow, I wouldn’t rule out another delay.

A skin can drop in its regular form or with a gemstone — 🔴 or 🔹 , Gemstones affect the skin’s usefulness and its value.

🔹 XP gemstone — will be useful later, but no one knows how yet.

All items are fully tradeable, and lootboxes can be purchased or earned for free by completing tasks.

Lootbox supply is limited to the season. Once the season ends, these boxes won’t exist anymore. The season will last 2–3 months.

A tournament and an in-game event have also been announced — details coming later.

🤔 What to do with Mr. Freeman’s stickers

Let’s go over what we know and look at the possible strategies.

Here’s the confirmed info so far:
• There are two teams: BLACK and WHITE. Each starts with exactly 5,000 sticker packs.
• Prize pool: $300,000 — and it will be distributed among the winning team.
• Rewards are guaranteed for those who burned in the winning team:

Rewards scale with how many packs you burn. Burn more → earn more.

But that doesn’t rule out rewards for non-burners on the winning team — though their rewards might be smaller (or potentially zero).

Freeman himself mostly talks about burning:

If your team wins and half of its stickers are burned, you walk away with a 6× profit just from the prize pool🤔

With that math, the entire $300k essentially gets split among the burners from the winning side.

But then Freeman adds this twist:

But as you know, sometimes Freeman rewards those who tried harder than the winners.

Sometimes... 🤔

So, on one hand we have:
• Burners in the winning team — they clearly split the $300k.
• Non-burners in the winning team — they’re left holding stickers with drastically reduced supply. They “held with conviction.” Maybe they did try harder?
• Burners in the losing team — they burned and lost.
• Holders in the losing team — they held and lost. Maybe they were the ones who actually tried harder?

Freeman also said:

At the same time, everyone will receive a new tool that never existed on the market before.

So stickers will have some utility. Freeman will have his own mini-app. A token launch is coming. All activity is being tracked.
Will sticker holding matter? Unknown.
Every message Freeman posts just amplifies the uncertainty.

Polls in various places show that most people plan to side with the winning team. Second most popular strategy is burning BLACK — but WHITE burners aren’t far behind.

Freeman also wrote:

What I see:

Judging by Notcoin’s wording, this looks like something put together quickly — rough around the edges — but they spotted potential in it. So they released it now and will iterate as they go. They also hinted at rewards.

Give it a try — maybe you’ll enjoy it, maybe you’ll find the rhythm (I couldn’t, it’s tough).

How to play: tap left and right legs alternately to keep the pace, and jump over obstacles. Watch your stamina and HP.

1️⃣ Hitoku Items

After the update, you can’t buy legendary skins directly anymore. But I still wanted that skin. So first I armed myself with luck and a wallet — and then decided to actually turn my brain on.

Here’s what I needed (besides the obvious):
1. The game itself: 💿 Hitoku
2. Marketplaces: ⚪️ Easy Market 🛒 MRKT
3. And the bridge between the markets and the game: 🟨 Not Games

How it all started:
Seeing that the drop rate for legendaries was around ~5% or maybe even higher, I figured I’d just spin gacha capsules.
I bought 20 gacha capsules from the Lazure Soul collection for 14.63 TON (and honestly, I could’ve paid at least twice less if I instantly realized people would be dumping gacha below Hitoku’s price).

Now watch closely (and keep an eye on the numbers):
I ended up opening 30 Lazure Soul gachas at an average cost of 0.57 TON — total 17.04 TON:
• 20 capsules bought at full price in Hitoku (~0.73 TON each)
• 8 bought cheap on ⚪️ Easy Market (~0.3 TON each)
• 2 received for free from tasks

From these gachas I pulled the legendary skin mentioned above (current floor on 🛒 MRKT is 12.38 TON) — plus a bunch of buttons (more on that later).

I also opened 20 Metal Deceiver gachas at an average cost of ~0.22 TON — total 4.38 TON.
These capsules are normally free, but I bought all of them on ⚪️ Easy Market.

There I got another pile of buttons and a legendary skin, Suzumi’s Complex, which I sold for 10.98 TON on ⚪️ Easy Market.

So in total I spent 21.42 TON and received 23.36 TON (before fees). Looks… not super impressive.
But I still had all the buttons. We’ll get to that — for now, back to ⚪️ Easy Market:
Яgrabbed a Punk Trix skin for 10 TON using an offer (yeah, I rushed and didn’t check the floor, just relied on what I remembered — around 15 TON). Then I bought another Punk Trix for 6 TON, and the funniest part — I sniped a Suzumi’s Complex for 0.25 TON.
So that’s 16.25 TON for three skins, which I can flip for a nice couple of X’s.

Now for the fun part: remember my buttons?
Ten epic buttons can be crafted into a legendary skin. You do this in 🟨 Not Games (Hitoku inventory → Craft).

I had enough epics, double-checked that I wasn’t throwing in any gemmed buttons, hit Craft — and got another Punk Trix. Add another 12.38 TON to the stash.

❗️ Everything above is just an example of what was possible yesterday. It’s no longer relevant because drop rates for legendary skins and epic buttons were heavily nerfed.
For reference: yesterday, across three collections, 111 legendaries dropped.
Today — just 3 (and one of them was crafted by me).

What you can do now:
1. The classic flip. Snipe cheap listings and resell higher. 🛒 MRKT and ⚪️ Easy Market will help.
2. Watch for cheap buttons to craft legendaries. On ⚪️ Easy Market you can sometimes catch epics at 0.1 TON. Some people even buy rares for 0.4 TON. Do the math yourself and let the market tell you what’s worth it.

One more important note: out of all skins I mentioned, I only sold one. Two I’m not selling anytime soon (the two punks from the screenshot), and three are listed above floor at the price I want.
I’m not dumping the floor — I think the market will recover. Yesterday, in classic TON fashion, a bunch of people got nearly-free skins and immediately dumped them at any price just to sell before everyone else.
Now legendaries are hard to get again, their value is higher, tournaments and events are coming — who knows, maybe owning a legendary skin will give some perks later.
