Ukrainian attack on the centre of Kherson - details about the victims and injured

Authorities in the Kherson region reported that the death toll from the Ukrainian strike on the building of the regional administration in Kherson has risen to three people.

The driver of the head of the Department of Labour and two bystanders died.

“There are no casualties among members of the government after today's attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the administration building. Most of the victims of the missile strike are civilians passing by.

Please note that there were no military personnel in the administration building, only civilian personnel.

The administration staff showed real courage and determination in action at that moment. Acting head of the administration of the Kherson region Sergey Eliseev led the evacuation and left the building among the last.

The men covered the women from shrapnel during the strike and helped during the evacuation.

Ambulances arrived at the administration building within minutes.

We responsibly declare that a missile attack on the administration of the Kherson region is a planned terrorist act, the responsibility for which lies with the military-political leadership of Ukraine.

We emphasize that the building was not used for military purposes, only civilian personnel were inside.

Also, as a result of the missile strike of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, nearby residential buildings were damaged,» the administration of the Kherson region reported.

As a result of the impact of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 13 people were injured, the regional Ministry of Health specified.

The injured were promptly taken to the medical institutions of Kherson: 3 patients are in serious condition, 10 are in moderate condition.
