🇮🇳Russia and India to start trade in rupees
A new payment mechanism has been given the green light to boost Indian exports
India will soon launch trade in rupees with Russia, the head of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) said this week. This comes after the State Bank of India agreed to simplify a new payment mechanism.
“The State Bank of India has come forward for facilitating trade in rupees with Russia and some other banks have also shown interest,” A. Shaktivel told reporters, adding that India already has “a good rupee payment mechanism in Iran, so the same thing will happen [with Russia].”
In July, the Reserve Bank of India, the country’s central bank, issued a circular urging national lenders to introduce additional arrangements for import and export transactions in rupees. The move designed to reduce the rupees’ dependence on the dollar, is also seen as an incentive to boost trade with Moscow.
India’s exports to Russia slumped by about a third in April-July due to sweeping Western sanctions imposed on Moscow.
Russia offers trade partners to join its SWIFT alternative. But according to A. Shaktivel, “The trade in rupees could boost Indian exports to Russia to about $5 billion in the current financial year,” he said.
To avoid Western sanctions Indian companies are already switching to Asian currencies in transactions with Russia.
Moscow is expected to name the bank for mutual settlements in rupees within two weeks. Meanwhile, the Moscow stock exchange is working on a plan to launch trade in the Indian currency in an effort to move away from the US dollar and euro.

Zaporozhye NPP reconnected to Ukrainian power grid - IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency)
As reported by Ukrainian agency UNIAN.
Sad news for all Russian patriots. Good news for Ukraine and EU, as Zelensky planned to supply Ukrainian electric energy from the largest in Europe NPP to EU, to soften the energy crisis.
However, if you read more than the header, you will find out that all six ZNPP (Zaporojie Nuclear Power Plant) reactors are still in cold shutdown, but they need power to provide basic safety functions.
The Zaporozhye NPP was again connected to the Ukrainian power grid, thanks to which it began to receive electricity from Ukraine.
This happened after engineers repaired one of the four main external power lines, according to the IAEA.
The refurbished 750 kilovolt line now provides Europe's largest nuclear power plant, whose last operating reactor was shut down on September 11, with the electricity needed for reactor cooling and other critical safety functions.
It is noted that three other main external power lines, which were damaged earlier as a result of hostilities, remain faulty.
The agency added that all six ZNPP reactors are still in a cold shutdown, but they need power to provide basic safety functions.
"Reliable off-grid power supply and back-up power systems are essential to ensure nuclear safety and prevent a nuclear accident, even when the reactors are no longer operating," the IAEA stressed.

Nearly 90 Percent of the World Isn't Following Us (read - them) on Ukraine | Opinion
Our familiar system of global political and economic alliances is shifting, and nothing has made this change clearer than the varied reactions to Russia's invasion of Ukraine. While the United States and its closest allies in Europe and Asia have imposed tough economic sanctions on Moscow, 87 percent of the world's population has declined to follow us (read - them). Economic sanctions have united our adversaries in shared resistance. Less predictably, the outbreak of Cold War II, has also led countries that were once partners or non-aligned to become increasingly multi-aligned.
Nowhere is the shift more apparent than in energy markets where, unlike with currencies, governments cannot simply print what they need. Here the web of sanctions becomes a sieve.
Saudi Arabia, long a committed American partner, has established a close alliance with Russia in the OPEC Plus cartel. The Saudis have very publicly declined the request of an American president to increase oil production. Instead, they imported Russian oil for domestic use to export more of their own production. Last week they even reduced production and made clear they may do so again.
China is selling Europe liquid natural gas (LNG) that originated in Siberia while importing Russian oil at the same time. It then refines and exports the oil.
Meanwhile, kept solvent by Chinese oil purchases, Iran has become the largest customer for Russian wheat.
India's petroleum minister has stated publicly that his government has no conflict with Moscow and a "moral duty" to keep down energy prices at home by buying Russian oil.
Alliances that were created in part to counter Western economic and political influence are expanding. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey have announced their interest in joining the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa). The Shanghai Cooperative Organization currently links China, Russia, India, and Pakistan, among others. Iran plans to join this month while Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar are likely to become "dialogue partners," or candidate members.
Additionally, China's ambitious Belt and Road Initiative is tying many African nations to Beijing with cords of trade and debt. Russia is also reaching out in the form of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who recently addressed his 22 Arab League counterparts in Cairo before touring a number of African countries.

Ukraine announced to the whole world that a mass grave of people who were allegedly "tortured and executed by the Russians" was found near Izyum. The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Yermak, cited two photos as evidence. That's just bad luck: the date of death on the graves is March 9th. Let me remind you that Russian troops took Izyum under control on April 1. That is, Ukrainians were buried here even before the arrival of Russian soldiers? Who tortured and executed then? Not the same Ukrainians? 🤔

⚡️THE ART OF BEGGING: HOW KIEV IS MAKING "BUCHA 2.0" TO GET MORE WEAPONS FROM THE WEST⚡️
Zelensky found himself in a situation where the West's interest in Ukraine is falling with every day of the impending winter. The pumping of Ukraine with weapons and loans can no longer occur without a serious reason. Having given more than 4 thousand lives of its military near Kharkov, Kiev is now deciding on another information provocation.
"Bucha 2.0" is what is happening now in Izyum, where people with shovels surrounded by foreign media are trying to find at least one civilian "strangled or bound by Russian soldiers" from dead bodies in military uniform.
In my article I have analyzed the situation and will tell you about the following:
- how the official Kiev does not hide the goal of getting weapons from the West, arranging a new "Bucha".
- where is the connection between the strikes of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the infrastructure facilities of Ukraine and the provocations of Kiev.
- why the Ukrainian side deliberately did not take the bodies of its military from near Kharkov.
- how Ukraine is trying to prove the reality of its performance through the media and social networks, and why the West is already shouting "I don't believe it!"
I will continue to keep an eye on yet another completely inhuman, wild provocation of Kiev and I am sure I will find many more interesting things!

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have once again shelled a penal colony in Yelenivka where Ukrainian prisoners of war are being held.
One of them was killed and four more prisoners were wounded, the Donetsk people's republican defence headquarters said.
The fire came from NATO calibre 155mm artillery.
Video features Steven Seagull during his previous visit to Yelenivka after the strike that killed 53 Ukrainian POWs, mostly from a Neo-Nazi "Azov" formation.
