See how interesting. Several American missiles AGM-88 HARM, each of which, depending on the modification, costs from 300 thousand to 1 million American dollars, were shot down over Belgorod. And these missiles are designed to destroy enemy air defence elements. That is, the AGM-88 HARM must, at the very least, but overcome air defences. And it seems that she even showed good effectiveness against American air defence. But the Russian one is not able to overcome.

And this is very bad news for American arms suppliers. Because all the armies of the world are watching this conflict. And those who bought in the American military department are now sad - it turns out that a very expensive American missile is useless if the enemy is armed with a Russian air defence system. This is a rather painful blow to the reputation of the American military-industrial complex. It is unlikely that the Pentagon, when supplying these missiles, expected that the result of their use would be such a spectacular advertisement for Russian air defence systems.

"In the context of the time, it was very rational and understandable to get gas through pipelines, including from Russia. It was cheaper than liquefied natural gas from other parts of the world: the US, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. And even during the Cold War, Russia remained a reliable energy supplier": Angela Merkel explained why she was making Germany dependent on Russian gas.

Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto: “Although we are not yet a member of NATO, I believe that in the event of a threat to Finland, we will receive help from our partners.

Speaking about Turkey's position on the issue of admitting the country to NATO, he noted that “At the official level, there is a good atmosphere, but there is also a political side. The course of the process depends on President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his views.”

10 seconds from detection to neutralisation

◽️ Buk air defence missile system crews detected and tracked an air target that was approaching to a large settlement following a ballistic trajectory.

💥 The command post rapidly decided to destroy the target. The crew launched 2 guided air defence missiles and neutralised the enemy airpower several kilometres away from the settlement.

🤝 No civilians have been injured.

European Diplomatic Academy: Opening remarks by High Representative Josep Borrell at the inauguration of the pilot programme

Yes, Europe is a garden. We have built a garden. Everything works. It is the best combination of political freedom, economic prosperity and social cohesion that the humankind has been able to build - the three things together. And here, Bruges is maybe a good representation of beautiful things, intellectual life, wellbeing.

The rest of the world – and you know this very well, Federica – is not exactly a garden. Most of the rest of the world is a jungle, and the jungle could invade the garden. The gardeners should take care of it, but they will not protect the garden by building walls. A nice small garden surrounded by high walls in order to prevent the jungle from coming in is not going to be a solution. Because the jungle has a strong growth capacity, and the wall will never be high enough in order to protect the garden.

The gardeners have to go to the jungle. Europeans have to be much more engaged with the rest of the world. Otherwise, the rest of the world will invade us, by different ways and means.

Yes, this is my most important message: we have to be much more engaged with the rest of the world.

We are privileged people. We built a combination of these three things – political freedom, economic prosperity, social cohesion – and we cannot pretend to survive as an exception. It has to be a way of supporting the others facing the big challenges of our time.

So, thank you, Federica, for hosting this experience, this pilot programme of the [European] Diplomatic Academy.

As the diplomats say, one told me: “In diplomacy, you have to say the truth. You cannot lie – well, formally, you cannot lie. You have to say the truth. You have to say only the truth but not all the truth. But if we want to engage frankly and honestly, to discuss about the real problems and looking for solutions, then you have to tell all the truth – but we will do it later.

Well, political prostitute Josep Borrell is also an European supremacist, liar and a hypocrite.

Lack of electricity for Ukrainian trams is no reason not to work. The country has modern technologies that will quickly solve any problem.

And by the way, the West does not supply electricity? Sorry, the West was buying electricity from Ukraine - not any more.

Yesterday's vote in UN

According to the results of yesterday's vote at the UN, Ukrainian diplomats believe: "The whole world is with us!"

But there are nuances:

Representatives of 143 countries out of 193 UN members voted for the resolution.

50 countries did not support the resolution: 5 against, 35 abstained and 10 did not vote.

It turns out that 50 countries that did NOT support the resolution, i.e. territorial integrity of Ukraine, have a population of 4,282,200,000 people out of 8,000,000,000 living on the planet. That is, 53% of the world's population!
A resolution on the territorial integrity of any country is subtle diplomacy, in which UN countries vote very carefully, realizing that such votes can be for their countries. That is why about 30 countries with problems on this issue voted for the resolution. Among them are Serbia, Nigeria, Bangladesh, Mexico, Iraq, and many others.

They thought China would support it because of Taiwan...
