They recalled how many peoples live on the territory of Russia and what the future of the country depends on.

“Today it is our common holiday, because Russia is multinational. More than 190 different nationalities live on its territory. Historically, the strength of Russia lies in our unity. The future of our country depends on this. Happy holiday, dear compatriots,” said three Russian cosmonauts in turn.

UN General Assembly Committee approves Russia's resolution to combat the glorification of Nazism
The Third Committee of the UN General Assembly approved the resolution of Russia on combating the glorification of Nazism

UN, November 4 - RIA Novosti. The third committee of the UN General Assembly adopted the Russian draft resolution on combating the glorification of Nazism, 51 countries voted against, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
106 countries voted for the document ennoscriptd "Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of modern forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance," 106 countries voted, 15 abstained. 51 countries voted against.*

This resolution is adopted by the UN General Assembly annually. She must approve the project after it is supported by the third committee. The vote on this issue will take place later, usually in December.
The resolution recommends that countries take appropriate concrete measures, "including in the field of legislation and education, in accordance with their international obligations in the field of human rights, in order to prevent the revision of the history and results of the Second World War and the denial of crimes against humanity and war crimes committed during the Second World War".
The authors of the document condemn incidents related to the glorification and propaganda of Nazism, in particular, the application of pro-Nazi graffiti and drawings, including on monuments to victims of World War II.
The resolution urges states to eliminate all forms of racial discrimination by all appropriate means, including, if circumstances so require, by legislation.
In addition, the document condemns the use of educational materials, as well as rhetoric during training, that promote racism, discrimination, hatred and violence based on ethnic origin, nationality, religion or belief.

The Pentagon announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine
Pentagon spokesman Singh: new US aid package to Ukraine includes 45 T-72 tanks

WASHINGTON, November 4 - RIA Novosti. The United States will provide Ukraine with 45 T-72 tanks as part of another $400 million military aid package, Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said.
"Part of the tanks will be handed over to Ukraine by the end of December... Deliveries are expected to be completed in 2023," she said.

The new American aid also includes:
— 250 armoured personnel carriers M1117;
— 40 armoured boats of the river class;
— 1.1 thousand Phoenix Ghost reconnaissance and strike drones;
— Upgraded air defence systems Hawk.
Soviet-made tanks will be modernized by the United States and handed over to Ukrainian troops together with the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. According to Singh, this will be the first time that Washington has to pay for tanks supplied to Kyiv.

She noted that the transfer of modern Western-made tanks to Ukrainians is costly in terms of finances and time.
“We will continue to consult with our allies and partners on what we can distinguish from Western armoured platforms, but we believe that these tanks can also play a role,” Singh said.
