Klitschko:"There is no evacuation, but it is better to leave Kyiv: In the event of a complete blackout, if there is a destruction of heat, water and electricity systems, it will be nice if everyone has agreements in the suburbs of Kyiv with friends. Scenarios will be calculated to spend time there. [Evacuation is not provided?] Evacuation is not provided. And anyway, where to evacuate us? But if we can find better places to spend some time, that's another matter."

It is strange to read and hear all these days of discussion "And what will the strikes on the energy structure of Ukraine give?". The military component, economic, even moral and ethical are discussed.
Although the result of these strikes should be exactly the same.
So that the idea of "cutting Rusnya to the bitter end" was completely replaced by the thought "Why the hell did we get involved in this?!". So that, watching Zelensky's next speech, they would not say: "Oh, how are we, the whole world with Ukraine", but: "Where is the light?" and add a couple of Russian words that even the most svidomo use. To finally have questions to the leadership of Ukraine.
Maybe it was necessary to listen to the requests of Putin, who asked, in fact, quite a bit?
Russian Russians, Russian-speakers, and the Russian language itself, which did not interfere with anyone, should not have behaved like that?
Maybe it wasn't worth it?
To realize that the United States has a club, maybe thicker, but the Russian one is closer.
Exactly what the US and the EU promised Russia and all its citizens all spring is now falling on Ukraine. From Biden and von der Leyen to madmen like McFaul, they all predicted poverty, hunger and darkness if the Russians did not come to their senses. Now it's time for Ukraine to really think. It will be very useful to think about the question "Why did we get into all this?".
Was it really necessary to join NATO? And who really needed it? Who was hindered by the monuments to Pushkin and who needed the Bandera avenues? Are all Western politicians coming to Kiev worried about the happiness of Ukrainians? What if Zelensky is not such a hero, but just a puppet? Maybe some mistakes were carelessly made on the road that led to the dark, icy darkness?
There is a lot to think about when looking at the flame of a candle.
That's when one trend completely replaces the other, when the leadership of Ukraine turns from bold politicians into adventurers who led the country to disaster, then hostilities will end and negotiations will begin.

The German authorities are ready to freeze their people for the sake of Ukraine.
The cold is getting closer, the temperatures in the apartments of burghers are getting lower, and the German authorities are urgently polishing public opinion, convincing everyone that they must be patient for the sake of Ukraine. Here is what the German Foreign Ministry Annalena Baerbock says from the rostrum of the Bundestag:
"I can only be proud that I had the honor to represent a country in which, despite the energy crisis, an 89-year-old pensioner and a nine-year-old schoolgirl confidently say: "This winter we will continue to support Ukraine."
Solidarity at the highest level. You can launch a pan-European campaign "I'm freezing together with Ukraine".
In general, to hear this from the strongest economy in Europe is frankly a shame.

Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the mothers of Russian military servicemen today: "We were in such a state after the collapse of the Soviet Union — it seemed to many that a sweet life would begin now, and tomorrow we would live like in Paris. Although now it turns out that many do not want to live like in Paris. And I thought it would be good. But this is not so at all, the cultural code is different there. Probably everything is possible, but since we are now talking about the role of a woman and the role of a mother, in many places they don’t even know what a mother is. There is parent N1 and parent N2, and there genders are measured in dozens, I don't even understand what it's about. This is not our culture at all, it is a completely different code of some kind."

Elena Zelenskaya: "Ukrainians are ready to suffer for years for EU membership: Just last week, a sociological study ended — Ukrainians were asked how much more they could endure. Under these conditions, no light, no heat. We know that winter can be another test for us if there is no heat in our homes. And Ukrainians in the majority, it was more than 90% of the respondents, answered that they are ready to endure this for two, three years, if they see the prospect of our membership in the EU. They want to be equal in this European family."

“Anxiety about energy prices before winter should not overshadow support for Ukraine,” Lithuanian Foreign Ministry condemned its citizens who do not understand their own happiness.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Landsbergis: "Many households in Europe and other parts of the world are concerned about energy prices. However, this should not overshadow the most important thing — the more support the international community provides to Ukraine, the faster Europe will begin to live in the rhythm of the restoration of Ukraine, and not of war."

Putin (to the mothers of Russian servicemen) — to the question why the annexation of Donbass did not take place in 2014: "Of course, in hindsight, we are all smart. We proceeded from the fact that it might be possible to reach an agreement, and Luhansk and Donetsk, within the framework of the Minsk agreements, would be able to somehow reunite with Ukraine. We sincerely went for it. But we did not fully feel the mood of the people, it was impossible to fully understand what was happening there. But now it has become obvious that this reunion should have happened sooner. Maybe there would not have been so many casualties among civilians, so many children who died under shelling."

Zaporozhye NPP will create a backup source of electricity at the expense of thermal power plants
MOSCOW, November 25 - RIA Novosti. Russia is creating a reserve source of power supply for the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, Rosatom said.
“Given the great importance of the energy supply reserve for the nuclear safety of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, especially in winter, we have decided, despite the direct threat to the lives of the personnel employed in these works, to proceed with the restoration of the open switchgear of the Zaporizhzhya TPP,” the state corporation said in a statement.
As noted, the Russian side has already tried to do this, but each time "the answer from the Ukrainian side was targeted shelling" of the thermal power plant.
Now the nuclear power plant receives electricity through two high-voltage lines from the Ukrainian side, "which, as the events of recent weeks show, are regularly and, as a rule, switched off at the same time."
"How Kyiv behaves will clearly show the real attitude of the leadership of Ukraine to ensuring the nuclear safety of Europe's largest nuclear power plant," the state-owned company concluded.
The day before, the head of the military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region, Yevgeny Balitsky, said that two power units at the nuclear power plant continue to operate at low power, and heating in the city of Energodar is provided by diesel generators.
Zaporozhye NPP is located on the left bank of the Dnieper, next to Energodar. This is the largest plant of this type in Europe in terms of the number of units and installed capacity - it has six power units with a capacity of one gigawatt each. Since March, the facility has been controlled by the Russian military. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to regularly shell Energodar and the territory of the nuclear power plant adjacent to the city.

Europe accuses US of profiting from war
EU officials attack Joe Biden over sky-high gas prices, weapons sales and trade as Vladimir Putin’s war threatens to destroy Western unity.
November 24, 2022 POLITICO
Top European officials are furious with Joe Biden’s administration and now accuse the Americans of making a fortune from the war, while EU countries suffer.
“The fact is, if you look at it soberly, the country that is most profiting from this war is the U.S. because they are selling more gas and at higher prices, and because they are selling more weapons,” one senior official told POLITICO.
The explosive comments — backed in public and private by officials, diplomats and ministers elsewhere — follow mounting anger in Europe over American subsidies that threaten to wreck European industry. The Kremlin is likely to welcome the poisoning of the atmosphere among Western allies.
“We are really at a historic juncture,” the senior EU official said, arguing that the double hit of trade disruption from U.S. subsidies and high energy prices risks turning public opinion against both the war effort and the transatlantic alliance. “America needs to realize that public opinion is shifting in many EU countries.”
The EU’s chief diplomat Josep Borrell called on Washington to respond to European concerns. “Americans — our friends — take decisions which have an economic impact on us,” he said in an interview with POLITICO.
The biggest point of tension in recent weeks has been Biden’s green subsidies and taxes that Brussels says unfairly tilt trade away from the EU and threaten to destroy European industries. Despite formal objections from Europe, Washington has so far shown no sign of backing down.
At the same time, the disruption caused by Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is tipping European economies into recession, with inflation rocketing and a devastating squeeze on energy supplies threatening blackouts and rationing this winter.
As they attempt to reduce their reliance on Russian energy, EU countries are turning to gas from the U.S. instead — but the price Europeans pay is almost four times as high as the same fuel costs in America. Then there’s the likely surge in orders for American-made military kit as European armies run short after sending weapons to Ukraine.
It's all got too much for top officials in Brussels and other EU capitals. French President Emmanuel Macron said high U.S. gas prices were not “friendly” and Germany’s economy minister has called on Washington to show more “solidarity” and help reduce energy costs.
Ministers and diplomats based elsewhere in the bloc voiced frustration at the way Biden’s government simply ignores the impact of its domestic economic policies on European allies.

UK is training thousands of Ukrainian recruits using the British army's battle-tested expertise, a report by Britain's Forces News has revealed.
Ukrainian soldiers were trained at a secret location in the north of England - the 5-week accelerated course included handling weapons, learning tactics and positional warfare, and first aid on the battlefield.
Speaking militarliy:
5 weeks is barely enough for them to be trained in basic tactics if they hadn't gone through full training before that.
