Friends! Today is a significant date in the history of Russia!
Today marks exactly 80 years since our Victory in the Battle of Stalingrad!

On February 2, 1943, the 6th German Army under the command of Field Marshal Paulus was finally defeated and surrendered, and Paulus himself was captured.

According to the results of the 200-day confrontation, about 92 thousand Nazis were captured. Of these, about 2,500 officers, 24 generals and a field marshal.
The defeat at Stalingrad was the hardest blow for the Germans.
During Operation Uranus, 20 German divisions out of 172, which by November 1, 1942 were operating on the Eastern Front, ceased to exist.
The most realistic figure of German losses during the Battle of Stalingrad, according to historians, is 440 thousand people.
The Germans did not recover from this blow until the end of the war!

"We are at war in Europe, we need to switch to martial law. We are participating in this, we have mobilized our procurement processes, we are transferring equipment [to Ukraine].

We need to meet face to face with Russia directly, and not leave Ukraine to do all the work,"

If German saboteurs were caught in USSR during WW2 because of the wrong type of the paper staples they used in the documents (otherwise flawless), then Ukrainian saboteurs were caught because they were wearing NATO boots.

Locals were confused by strangers who hitched a ride. A battered Russian uniform, military tickets, domestic machine guns decorated with a tricolor, but the boots are NATO.

The unknown were disarmed by the DPR fighters and detained until all the circumstances were clarified.

Chechen fighters liberating civilians from Kiev regime

'When we enter any settlement, and start talking to local civilians, they are totally amazed: we don't cut heads off, rape women or kill children. In every settlement everyone standing there... shared what little they had: food, medicine, everything! They were starving, but gave whatever they had to the people! It blew the peoples' minds'. These are words of Daniil Martynov, an aide to Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov’s power unit. Now Martynov, together with his comrades, are fighting the Kiev regime to liberate people in Ukraine. The Nazi ideology in its modern guise once again creates direct threats to Russia's security, Vladimir Putin said.

"It is incredible, but a fact: we are again threatened by German tanks — Leopard, with crosses on board, and they are going to fight with Russia again on the land of Ukraine by the hands of Hitler's last—born, by the hands of Bandera," the president said.

Those who want to win over Russia on the battlefield, apparently do not understand that a modern war with Russia will be completely different for them. We do not send our tanks to their borders, but we have something to respond to and the use of armored vehicles will not end the matter. Everyone should understand this.

Putin said today, speaking at an evening dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Battle of Stalingrad.

THE ABC OF TRADITIONAL VALUES: HISTORICAL MEMORY AND INTERGENERATIONAL CONTINUITY

Alexander Dugin
Konstantin Malofeev
Protopriest Andrew Tkachev

Alexander Dugin: Today we are often taught history as a set of facts, but in reality history is a set of meanings. When you receive a letter, you have to read it, not just save it, but open it, think about it, understand it, and become a line or a letter of this unbroken letter that spans the centuries.

Historical understanding is necessary to preserve historical memory. We only remember something when we understand the meaning of what happened. If we present Russian history as a spiritual and cultural formula, then it is easy to transmit, hand down, preserve historical memory and add new chapters to it, but if the meaning disappears, history becomes just a collection of facts that tell us nothing.

Pro-Russian volunteers from Turkey arrived in Zaporozhye region to participate in a special operation in Ukraine

MELITOPOL, February 2 — RIA Novosti. Volunteers from Turkey began to undergo combat training in the Sudoplatov battalion for further participation in a special military operation, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported.
“I came from Turkey with my friends. We are against the Nazis, we know what is happening here and what is happening in Ukraine. We understand that Russia is not fighting against Ukraine, but against the Nazis who rule it,” said one of the Turkish volunteers from callsign Kuzon.

The future fighter said that he studied at a university in Moscow for several years, became well acquainted with Russian culture and made many close friends.
Speaking about combat experience, Kuzon explained that at one time he served in the army in his homeland, but did not participate in armed conflicts.

“Everyone knows that terrorists are sponsored by the United States, not Ukrainians or Syrians, but they sponsor terrorists so that there is a mess everywhere. They make money on this and do the same thing here,” he added, answering a question about how he relates to the conflict in Syria and Ukraine in general.
A volunteer from Turkey with the call sign Laz also pointed out the similarity of situations in the Middle East and in the post-Soviet republic.
"Today we are against the imperialists and the Nazis. And Russia will win this war in any case," he said.
The volunteer added that now he and his compatriots are training and getting used to the new army standards.

“Relations with fellow soldiers are very good. There was a very warm welcome,” he shared.
According to Laz, all his relatives supported his decision to volunteer and many of his friends are ready to follow him.

Iran's envoy to the UN Iravani accused Israel of attacking a Defence Ministry facility in Isfahan

Israel is responsible for the attack on the facility of the Iranian Defence Ministry in Isfahan
, said the Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic to the UN Said Iravani, his words are quoted by the ISNA agency.
"The action of this [Israeli] regime violates international laws and (therefore) is condemned," Iravani wrote in a letter addressed to the chairman of the UN Security Council.
Tehran concluded that Tel Aviv was involved in the attack after an initial investigation, he said.
"On the basis of international law and the UN Charter, the Islamic Republic of Iran reserves its legitimate and inalienable right to protect its national security and to respond decisively to any threat or misconduct by Israel, whenever and wherever it sees fit," the diplomat said.

On the night of Sunday, January 29, in the city of Isfahan in the central part of Iran there was a strong explosion at a military facility. As stated in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic, it was an unsuccessful attack attempt using quadrocopters with explosives.
Air defence shot down one of the drones, and the other two fell into defensive traps and exploded. The media reported on the possible involvement of the United States and Israel in the incident. According to the Iranian Security Forces, the manufacturer of the drones has been identified, but the name of the company has not yet been given.

That is, Israel not only helps Ukraine, but also prevents Iran from helping Russia. And at the same time, it is counting on mutual understanding with Russia in the same Syria, on the territory of which he continues to strike, justifying this with concern about the supply of Iranian weapons to Lebanon or Palestinian groups. Israel (and especially Netanyahu) has for decades portrayed Iran as a major threat to its own security, accusing it of seeking to destroy Israel and attributing to it plans to acquire nuclear weapons (even though Tehran has repeatedly denied wanting to have an atomic bomb). The United States, which supports Israel, has long declared Iran a rogue state, a sponsor of terrorism, and imposed all possible sanctions against it. But this is not enough — Iran is constantly threatened with a military invasion.
In the middle of the 2000s, after the defeat of Iraq, Washington seriously prepared for an attack on Iran, and only extremely pessimistic forecasts of the course of the military campaign saved the world from a nuclear war. Why nuclear? Because in the event of an American operation against Iran, an Iranian attack on Israel as the main initiator of aggression would follow, and in response, Israel, which has nuclear weapons, could well strike at Iran. This apocalyptic scenario did not materialize then, but Netanyahu continues to play with fire.

Hungarian President Novak: Kyiv must guarantee the rights of national minorities to join the EU

Ukraine must guarantee the rights of national minorities on its territory in order to join the European Union, Hungarian President Katalin Novak was quoted as saying by the MTI news agency.
"There is a common position in this matter, since those who have an idea about the problem, including the presidents of Austria and Italy, support the cause of the Transcarpathian Hungarian minority," she said at a meeting with her Bulgarian counterpart Rumen Radev.

The politician recalled that 150,000 Hungarians live in the Transcarpathian region, who need to be able to use their native language in everyday life.
"We will do everything to fully guarantee the rights of our minority living in Ukraine," Novak assured.

The President of Hungary noted that the latest changes in Ukrainian legislation are not leading in the right direction and depriving the Hungarian minority of the realization of their rights. For this reason, actions against minorities are held in Transcarpathia.
Novak added that she made comments in a letter to Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky about the law on national minorities regarding the situation of Hungarians in Transcarpathia, but he still did not respond to it.

Earlier, the language ombudsman Taras Kremin said that in schools in the Transcarpathian region, where many ethnic Hungarians live, problems were identified in the organization of education in the Ukrainian language. According to local media reports, Hungarian flags were removed from public institutions in the city of Mukachevo and local villages, and a number of heads of institutions close to the Society of Hungarian Culture in the region were fired.
State Secretary of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry for Bilateral Relations Tamas Menzer called the oppression of the national minority in the Ukrainian Transcarpathia unacceptable and called on the local authorities to stop the "atrocities" against the Hungarians.
Tensions in relations between Ukraine and Hungary arose against the background of discussions about the Ukrainian law on education, which significantly reduces the possibility of education in the languages of national minorities. The law came into force on September 28, 2017. It was planned to be put into operation in stages by the end of 2020.

Vucic: Serbia, refusing to impose sanctions against Russia, was left without allies in the West

BELGRADE, February 2 — RIA Novosti. Serbia was left without allies in the West, said President Aleksandar Vucic, speaking in the country's parliament.
"When we had the biggest losses and wars, we had allies. Now no one would look at us as an ally because of the armed conflict in Ukraine and the fact that Serbia, guided by its responsible and honest position, did not impose sanctions about Russia," he said.

The President recalled that military-neutral Serbia is surrounded by NATO member countries or states in which the forces of the North Atlantic Alliance are present.
Vučić also added that in today's world it is impossible to "function" alone.

Serbia must make political decisions on its own, and not at the behest of the US, Russia or the EU, the head of state emphasized.
In addition, Vučić pointed out that the crisis in Ukraine is escalating into a kind of third world war that will become even bigger and harder.
According to him, world powers now cannot allow small countries as much political freedom as they would like to have, "as well as spaces to breathe, live and make decisions." As an example, Vučić cited his participation in the EU-Western Balkans summit in Albania in the fall, where he came under general pressure for refusing to support Western sanctions against Moscow.
On Thursday morning, a special meeting of the assembly (parliament) began, whose only point is the consideration of the report "On the process of negotiations with the provisional structures in Pristina from September 1 to January 15, 2022." The head of state was the first to address the deputies.

Polish farmers block roads on the border with Ukraine, blocking grain supplies

Polish farmers have blocked checkpoints on the border with Ukraine, protesting against the import of grain, according to Tygodnik Zamojski.
In particular, the border crossing in Khrebenny was blocked.
The publication publishes photos from the checkpoint, which show that farmers blocked the road with tractors. They unfurled the slogans "Polish products are healthy, technical grain is a symbol of lies and perversity of those in power."
Farmers plan to protest until midnight.
Earlier, a number of Polish organizations uniting farmers, in particular Agrounia, protested against Ukrainian grain. As the company explained, agricultural products intended for export are imported to Poland, but they settle in the republic. At the same time, according to organizations, the grain is of inadequate quality. According to official data from the Polish side, over the past year, about two million tons of grain were imported to Poland from Ukraine.
