President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking with a message to the people and the parliament of the republic, made landmark statements about a possible way to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, and also described the apocalyptic prospects that a further escalation of the conflict would lead to.

“We need to start negotiations, right now, and not later ... We need to stop now, before the escalation begins."

And phosphorus ammunition, and depleted uranium, and enriched uranium - everything should go into action if once again a deception is noticed, even the slightest movement across the border into Ukraine.

If the Russian leadership realizes that the situation threatens the collapse of Russia, the most terrible weapon will be used.

This cannot be allowed,” Lukashenko said.

The President of Belarus stated that today "World War III with nuclear fires loomed on the horizon." He expressed confidence that the massacre in Ukraine will not end until the United States gives the go-ahead. And although the people of Ukraine need peace, no one in the West is interested in this desire.

“Now there is a lot of talk about the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In my opinion, this is extremely dangerous. This is the worst thing possible under the current conditions. Counting on victory with a nuclear-weapon state is madness,” the Belarusian leader stressed.

Lukashenko recalled the deception of previous years, when the West used the time won at the Minsk talks to militarize Ukraine.

EU close to discussing sending troops to Ukraine, Orban says

BUDAPEST, March 31 — RIA Novosti. EU countries are close to discussing sending troops to Ukraine, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on Kossuth radio.

“We are close to the fact that in the conversations of European leaders, the question of whether the EU member states can send troops of a certain peacekeeping type (to Ukraine) or better not to send has become legitimate and accepted. We are close to this previously uncrossable border," he said.

The politician recalled that a year ago there was a dispute about whether lethal weapons could be sent to Ukraine.
“The Hungarians both then and now said no. But the Western countries also hesitated. Now this is not a question. Now the only question is tanks, or how many aircraft, or shells with uranium-containing elements, or troops,” Orban said.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Hungary has consistently opposed sanctions on Russian energy resources and sending weapons to Ukraine. In early March last year, the parliament of the republic issued a decree prohibiting the supply of weapons to Kyiv from the territory of the country. Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto explained that Budapest is seeking to secure the territory of Transcarpathia, where ethnic Hungarians live, since the supply of weapons through the region would become a legitimate military target for Russia.

Moscow last year sent a note to NATO countries because of the supply of weapons to the Kyiv authorities. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that any cargo with military equipment for Ukraine would become a legitimate target for the Russian army. According to him, the United States and the alliance are directly involved in the conflict — not only by transferring weapons, but also by training personnel in the UK, Germany, Italy and other countries.

EU countries appealed to the head of the European Commission because of the crisis with Ukrainian grain

WARSAW, March 31 — RIA Novosti. The prime ministers of several EU countries asked the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to intervene in the crisis caused by the influx of grain from Ukraine.
The appeal was made by representatives of Poland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and Slovakia. Their letter reports problems associated "with a significant increase in the supply of Ukrainian products to the markets of EU member countries, especially those bordering Ukraine or located near it." The prime ministers announced an unprecedented increase in imports of cereals, oilseeds, eggs, poultry, sugar, apple juice, berries, apples, flour, honey and pasta.

Politicians noted that a number of EU countries had difficulties with the development of surplus grain in warehouses. This, in turn, led to market destabilization. In order to cope with the situation, they proposed to allocate additional funds from EU funds.

"Given the magnitude of the above phenomena, it is necessary to significantly increase the amount of financial resources allocated by the European Union for support. Additional funds are needed, because there are not enough funds from national budgets," the letter says.
According to the prime ministers, additional funding can help achieve the original goal of the "belt of solidarity", that is, the export of Ukrainian surplus agricultural products to countries in Africa and the Middle East.

"We call on the commission to analyse the possibility of purchasing surplus grain from neighbouring Member States for humanitarian purposes," the politicians stressed.
In addition, the prime ministers want the EC to propose a joint EU decision "which, in cooperation with the World Food Programme, will ensure the purchase of Ukrainian grain so that it does not get into the EU member states."
Earlier, a number of Polish organizations uniting farmers, in particular Agrounia, protested that grain intended for export is imported into their country from Ukraine, but then it settles in the republic. They also pointed out the poor quality of the goods. According to official data from the Polish side, about two million tons of grain were imported into the republic from Ukraine over the past year.
