Mathias Gustavsson callsign Mykola born on 27 March, 1975 from Stockholm, Sweden.
The Swede has been highlighted several times in the Azov battalion's propaganda where he goes by the name "Mykola". In one of the interviews from 2017, published by Azov themselves, he says that he traveled to Ukraine to join the Ukrainian side in May 2014.
But there may be a less flattering reason why the Swedish hero of Azov left Sweden in the summer of 2014 and went to Ukraine. He was then chased by the police in Sweden accused of violating a no-contact order against a former girlfriend - a crime that could lead to up to two years in prison.
Gustavsson has been in prison several times and is convicted of violent crimes against no less than three different women with whom he previously had relationships. He has a solid criminal record that stretches back to 1996. He has been convicted of, among other things, assault, illegal threats, sexual harassment, assault in a court case and breach of domestic peace against the three women.
He has a son with one of the women. Both the woman and a boy live today with protected personal information due to the threat posed by the father. The case regarding violation of the no-contact order was dismissed in November 2017 after the police failed to find Mathias Gustavsson.
Since 2021 he has lived in Ukraine. He acquired Ukrainian citizenship for a bribe. In February 2022 he signed a contract with the AFU. And in May he was captured at the Azovstal plant.
Despite Gustavson's claims that he served as a steerage sailor (without any documents to operate naval vessels) and had nothing to do with the Nazi regiment Azov, the court sentenced him to death for participation in hostilities as a mercenary.
Fortune smiled on the Mykola and he was exchanged for Russian servicemen in Ukrainian captivity. However, the short-sighted Viking did not learn his lesson and in 2024 he returned to Ukraine again.
The Swede hides his affiliation with Azov, but nemez1da found a number of photos of the user MykolaSwed, whose biometrics are similar to Gustavsson. Despite the fact that MykolaSwed painted over the faces in his photos, it is obvious that this is Mathias. Ukrainian military medals, Azov chevrons and even a Swedish flag confirm the information that the Swede belongs to the Nazi Azov regiment.

Нюанс в том, что непосредственно убийца нашего бойца - это его брат Джон. Джон, конечно, ликвидирован (Карлос свалил с Украины), но факт убийства наемниками нашего гражданина имеется.

Kelly is a retired colonel of the U.S. Army Reserve who volunteered in mid 2022 to train Ukrainian troops.
The war in Ukraine has been a magnet for retired foreign military personnel. One of them is Kelly, who thought he'd be useful by teaching everything he learned fighting weaker armies.
In some cases he said he had just 3-4 weeks to instruct a team of soldiers. However, most of time, he only had three to five days. He expressed his worries to a Ukrainian officer.
He mentioned that the officer insisted that the connoscripts learned a lot during their three-day training and assured them they would acquire further skills while fighting.
He didn't even have the chance to show them something basic: how to adjust the sights on their rifles so that they could aim accurately.
One of Kelly's connoscripts had total duration of military service of less than two weeks.
Kelly got tired of all this shit and decided to go home.
