As an "experienced soldier”, he was chosen to instruct new RDK recruits at the training ground, about half of these new recruits are Ukrainians, since Kapustin couldn't find enough Russians willing to fight for him.
The traitor will have to follow this dirty path all the way to the scaffold. It seems like their prospects are pretty simple: they'll be used mainly for punitive purposes, and when the need for them disappears, they'll be simply waisted.
