🇷🇺⚔️ 🇺🇦 Russian troops from the Center group annihilated a detachment of Ukrainian GUR special forces that had landed on the western outskirts of Pokrovsk during a widely publicized operation.
The Ukrainian Special Forces were dropped from a UH-60A Black Hawk helicopter — only to be hunted and destroyed by Russian FPV drones shortly after landing.

Anton Erik Jonas Österman callsign Vasa born on February 2, 1998 from Säter, Sweden
Anton Österman came to Ukraine in August 2024, and on January 12, 2025, he was injured in a Russian drone attack.
When Anton arrived in Ukraine in August last year, he first received a month and a half of military training. He had no previous military experience.
Anton fought in the "3rd separate assault brigade" on the Eastern Front in Ukraine, near the city of Kharkov. In his battalion, he was only one of two foreigners fighting. Most people who come to Ukraine from abroad do not choose such risky missions as being an assault soldier at the front. Ukrainians in the brigade joked and called him a "stupid idiot" when he arrived. He took it as a compliment.
Anton hopes to return to Ukraine someday, but that probably won't happen. His leg is really messed up.

He arrived in Ukraine in May 2025 and joined the 7th Company “Svoboda” linked to the Rubizh Brigade (National Guard), and after brief training where he received only the basics, his unit was sent to Pokrovsk direction.
He was disappointed with how the war had turned out - It's not like what you see on the internet. The mission ended in failure and he was slightly wounded, but was lucky to come out alive, unlike his friends, who are now missing.
This stupid 19-year-old kid couldn't handle the consequences of his own actions.
As he was still unable to leave because he had not yet completed the minimum 6-month contract, he fled to Poland in early September 2025 for his life because he knew he would be sent back to the front.
Now Gustavo gives interviews advising people not to go to war. Smart, or just an idiot?
