In the fall of 2014, Krasnyan joined Nazi Aidar battalion.

In 2022 Krasnyan again took command of the 2nd Assault Company of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army of Dmytro Yarosh in the Kharkiv Region.

There he was eliminated by Russian army.
