🇬🇧🇺🇦 Samuel Newey, a mercenary from the Dark Angels group, killed some days after the death of his team leader
His brother Daniel Newey fought in Syria on the side of the YPG (Kurdish People's Self-Defense Units). Samuel became the subject of a criminal case for supporting terrorism in 2019 for supporting Daniel. He went on trial in February 2020, but the charges were dropped.
Through his brother's contacts, Samuel was recruited to Ukraine to the Dark Angels unit, which was founded by Daniel Burke (Daniel Newey fought with him in Syria).
Samuel Newey was liquidated on 30.08.2023 near Kramatorsk.
Details of Newey's death were not reported. It is known that a few days before the group commander Burke was found killed in Zaporozhye, far from the front line.
Newey's parents reported that they were collecting money for his funeral, as the British government refused to provide them with aid.

Katherine Mielniczuk from Poland however lives and works in Westerham, Kent, United Kingdom.

Studied Chemistry and works for British Hospital.
In early March she was just posting about her fundraising and trying to help out people in Ukraine, however as time goes on, more comes out.
