Lambah came to Ukraine in April 2022 pretending to be doing humanitarian work but in reality he joined Gonor bandits of Praviy Sector. Mostly he was hanging with another Brit there Alexander Moss.
Lambah probably thought it will be the same as what he did in UK where he liked to engage in fights with knives for which he pleaded guilty.
But Matt saw pretty fast that reality is something different so he fled back home already in June 2022.

Guram Chichinadze, 41yo, born on March 1 1983, from Kutaissi, Georgia.
Guram came with his family to Ukraine prior to start of SVO and lived and worked first in Odessa and then in Kiev.
After the start of the SVO he joined the war fighting on the side of Ukrainian regime.
On February 27 2024 Guram was captured by Russian army.
He gave a video statement about how it happened.
First he described Ukrainian failed mission around Nova Kakhovka.
"The radio said that there were no [Russian soldiers], they ran away. Then a minute later they started bombing. In two and a half hours, as the guys said, there were 200 and 300. I didn't see the dead, but the wounded were taken out. We haven't advanced a single centimeter."
Guram said that after this fight he fled from the front and did not want to fight.
He was recently caught in the theft and the judge gave him a choice: jail or front lines. He choose frontlines and got captured.
He also doesn't want to be exchanged.
