🇷🇺⚔️🇺🇦 The Armed Forces of Ukraine are killing Russian soldiers who have been captured or have surrendered – The New York Times on Ukraine's violation of the Geneva Convention.

Caspar Grosse, a German medic in a Ukrainian unit, said he saw a Russian soldier asking for medical help in a mix of broken English and Russian. It was dusk. One of the soldiers hobbled over and shot the Russian soldier in the torso. He fell, still breathing. Another soldier shot him – ‘just shot him in the head,’ Mr. Grosse recalled in an interview.

In a second incident, a member of the 'Chosen' Company, one of the best-known units of international troops fighting on behalf of Ukraine, threw a grenade and killed a surrendering Russian soldier who had raised his hands, as shown in a video viewed by The Times. The Ukrainian military posted a video of the episode to demonstrate their combat prowess, but they cut out the moment of surrender.

In a third incident, members of the 'Chosen' Company bragged in a group chat about killing Russian prisoners of war during a mission in October, according to text messages.
