Ren Takeda callsign Gangsta born on March 27, 1995, from Tokyo, Japan.
Ren Takeda is a hormone-powered bodybuilder, an anime fan, a gamer, and a pot smoker. He served in the 1st Airborne Division of the Japan Self-Defense Force. He was on the NATO mission in Afghanistan.
Takeda joined in the Ukrainian Foreign Legion in April 2022. He was a machine gunner. He had been a member of the Bravo 3 unit since the summer. According to him, out of 22 members of the platoon assigned to the beginning, everyone died in the battle expect for him. Bravo 3 unit ceased to exist after huge losses.
During one of the sweeps near Kupyansk, he captured an old lady, who he said was taking pictures of something, and handed her over to foreign citizens.
Together with Steven Keith Munro he participated in the capture of the remaining Russian troops after the retreat in September 2022.
Ren Takeda took part in the infamous fight in Petropavlovka on 09/27/2022.
On the internet, Gangsta bragged that he “was obsessed with combat, so I was running around the entire legion, and now I’m a captain in the regular Ukrainian army.”
This information is false, since Ukraine does not award officer ranks to foreign citizens. Regardless of their previous merits, militants who enlist receive the rank of private.
In April 2023, the clouds over Gangsta finally thickened. He complained that he could be dishonorably fired and deported from Ukraine. In May 2023, Takeda was still in the conflict zone, but most likely in the rear.
He has done nothing else since then. He sells knives to survive, but nobody buys them because they are of poor quality.
