Thank you so much for your vital support! We are now able to give you an update on our lawsuit against the City of Bloomington, Mayor John Hamilton and two city employees.
We are fighting back against the unjust and unconstitutional treatment that we were subjected to while vending at our long time, beloved Bloomington Community Farmer’s Market.
Organized boycotts and protests against our farm were allowed, endorsed and encouraged by the mayor and city staff for months on end while the city made unconstitutional demands of us in hopes of leaving us destitute.
At this stage in time, the case is moving forward and we have our summary judgement pending. We’ve completed depositions of city staff. Since we and some witnesses (who are not parties and stand nothing to gain from the case) have been doxxed in the past, we’ve had to incur additional legal fees for filing a protective order to maintain confidentiality of identifying information. While most people in this situation wouldn’t need to request the additional relief of the court protecting words and identifying information from public disclosure, we are forced to.
Protesters have continued to organize online during the market off-season to further their efforts- this time by attempting to destroy our ability to collect donations for our legal fund.
Recently, ’No Space For Hate’ (the group whose actions at the market were publicly praised by Mayor John Hamilton in 2019) in conjunction with groups such as ‘NYC Antifa', promoted a “call to action” on Twitter to try to get our Go Fund Me campaign shut down. Similarly, they were successful at getting us banned from PayPal last year. Fortunately, Go Fund Me determined that we are in compliance with their user agreement, and we are still able to accept donations to our legal fund on our Go Fund Me campaign.
We expect to have another update soon and we wish to thank all of you who have donated thus far.

A frugal homemaker finds ways to save her family money so that they can invest that money wisely towards family goals. One way to save money is to learn how to cut hair!
For the price of one haircut, you can buy a set of clippers and cover the cost of haircuts for years to come! You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on fancy clippers either. I bought a $20 Philips Norelco 3100 series 3 years ago that is still working wonderfully for my family!
Let's dive into the breakdown.
It is recommended that guys get a haircut every 6-8 weeks. At $20 a head, on average you will fork over $160 annually on the locks of each guy in your family! Three guys under your roof? That's $460 a year! Don't forget the girls, who are recommended to get their 'do cut every 8-12 weeks. That's $120 a year per lady. In total, $720 ÷ 12 months = $60/mo!
Watch a few YouTube videos for clipping/buzzing tips. It's inexpensive and easy to cut hair. Make it a priority to save money!

People that are capable of having children and choose not to, do so for selfish reasons. They try to fill the purpose of life with travel, vacations and "things", all of which are ultimately empty and void of true meaning.
If you inherited a natural talent or skill, why wouldn't you want to bless the world with it through your offspring or genes? Whether it be passing down generations-old family recipes, a knack for mathematics, building, fixing or creating things?
Live a life of purpose. Then honor that purpose enough to pass it down by creating a legacy.
I promise that when you are on your deathbed you will feel much more love and peace in your final moments looking upon the loving faces you created a lifetime of memories with than recalling that one trip to France or the gadgets and Harley you bought half a century ago.
