Clean, fresh smallish cukes, 2-3 T sea salt, dash of pepper, crushed garlic clove, dill, filtered water. I ferment for about 3 days before transferring to the refrigerator. They are crunchy, bubbly, salty, sour and delicious. Not to mention the beneficial bacteria is friendly to the gut.

Homemade non-toxic sunscreen! We mainly use rash guard shirts and hats for sun burn prevention, but sometimes you need a little extra. Made with simple organic ingredients such as Shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, beeswax, homegrown lavender infused in olive oil by sunlight from my herb garden, and sun barrier ingredients such as carrot seed oil and non-nano zinc oxide. With the skin being the largest organ, it is important to be conscious of what we put on it.

Scalloped Potatoes and Ham- one of my favorites. Reminds me of childhood every time. I used to call it "Scalped potatoes in ham"😂
After 'scalping'😂 the spuds, thinly slice and layer w/ onion, shredded cheese (I used Gruyere & parmesan), bits of ham, a sprinkle of white flour, and s & p. I added some rosemary too. Add gobs of butter. Top with cheeses. Pour milk over the top (about one cup or so). Bake, covered in at 400F for about 45 - 60 minutes or until the spuds are tender. Remove covering during last 10 minutes to brown the top.
