The bulk of a child’s religious education and upbringing should be coming from the parents. Period. Whether you choose to put your kid in a Christian private school, do homeschool that incorporates religious lessons into the curriculum, or go with public school with Sunday school and home lessons/habits mixed in, parents are the ones responsible for raising their kids in the faith. You can’t just dump your kid off at Sunday school or the weekly faith formation class at church and then expect him to grow up a perfect little Christian, because classes at church are meant to be supplementary, not your kid’s main source of religious influence.

Have old, smelly, rusty glass Mason jars? Don't know how to clean them and get them canning-ready? It's easy!! Soak in hot, soapy Dawn dish soap water. Add a couple of tablespoons of bleach (if jars are really nasty or old). Soak for 1 hour. Scrub jar mouths with steel pad and inside jar with scrubber. Run in dishwasher. Viola!
