As discussed earlier, it was contextualized by the reality of the Israelis announcing that they intend to attack district 3 in Tehran, a warning on that danger, not a threat that the US would attack there…as that Trump post was misconstrued to mean by many…
He’s been quite critical of Trump the past bit on related developments, I think he expects Trump to fall in line behind the Israelis… and he’s not alone.
As always time will tell. Right now it looks like the US is going back to the negotiation table with Iran. Expect some other event to mess that up, just like with Ukraine.
