“Epstein has also provided information to the FBI as agreed upon,” the redacted memo, posted to the FBI’s The Vault document collection in 2018, and resurfacing amid the ongoing fallout over the Trump administration’s reversal on promises to release the Epstein files, states.
Trump Attorney General Pam Bondi told reporters this week that she has “no knowledge” whether Epstein was an intel asset.
The 2008 memo says he was, and that the FBI agent handling his case had “advised that no federal prosecution” occur for so long as Epstein continued to cooperate.
