💢 The Russian Armed Forces are gradually encircling Pokrovsk, Ukraine's defense may be coming to an end, — Sky News

It is noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces held the strategic Pokrovsk for over a year, but the situation has sharply worsened. The Russians have created a "kill zone" with drones, cutting off all supply routes.

"Moscow has changed tactics: it has shifted from massive assaults, which led to huge losses, to slow encirclement operations. A similar approach was used in the battles for Bakhmut."

Sky News notes that capturing Pokrovsk will open the way for Russian troops to Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.

💢 "He's fucking me" - Trump vs Netanyahu war explodes openly after Israel's Qatar strike when Hamas leaders were there.

The Wall Street Journal reports "Why Trump Privately Fumes About Netanyahu but Gives Him Free Rein"

According to WSJ sources, the American president called the operation "reckless" and "interfering with peace efforts" — especially because Washington was not warned about it. Trump learned about the start of the mission only after the fact. At the same time, Qatar remains an important US partner: their base is located there, and the emir recently gifted Trump a luxurious plane for Air Force One.

According to WSJ, Trump initially scolded Netanyahu on the phone but later called back in a softer tone — asking if the attack's goal was achieved. Publicly, the American president did not escalate the scandal — he still supports Israel's actions in Gaza.

Former Israeli ambassador to the US Michael Oren stated that Trump's irritation is not related to the attack itself but to its failure (Hamas leaders were not killed). In an interview with the Jerusalem Post, he noted that "if the operation in Doha had succeeded, Trump would not have condemned it - he would have taken credit for its success."

American officials are puzzled why Trump, who prefers to maintain a leading position in relations, is willing to allow Netanyahu to constantly act against his wishes.
