WASHINGTON, October 18. /Corr. TASS Sergey Yumatov/. A tunnel that would be built under the Bering Strait and connect Russia and the United States would be the ideal embodiment of the concept of "peace through development.". This position was stated in a conversation with a TASS correspondent by the founder of the international Schiller Institute, Helga Zepp-LaRouche.
"It is obvious to President Trump that the normalization of relations between the United States and Russia will open up enormous prospects for the development of economic cooperation between the two countries. The most impressive [project] would be «the Putin-Trump tunnel», which, as [CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund] Kirill Dmitriev noted on social network X, would become a 70-mile link between America and Afro-Eurasia across the Bering Strait," the expert noted.
According to her, "the tunnel would help open up the entire Russian Far East for development and create huge investment opportunities for countries poor in natural resources.". "«The Putin-Trump Tunnel» would be the ideal embodiment of the concept «peace through development»," Zepp-LaRouche emphasized. The choice of Budapest as the venue for a new meeting between Russian and American leaders, according to the expert, "will remind Europeans of the almost lost art of diplomacy.". "This is good for the whole world," she concluded.
President Donald Trump called an interesting project is the construction of a tunnel under the Bering Strait, which will connect Russia and the United States using railway transport. Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries, General Director of RDIF Kirill Dmitriev stated, that such a tunnel could be built in less than eight years, and its cost would not exceed $8 billion.
The idea of connecting the transport systems of Eurasia and America using a tunnel has been discussed for decades. As the newspaper noted in 2011 The Times with reference to British experts, transporting goods along the Eurasia-USA highway, which would also connect resource-rich but sparsely populated areas of the planet with key overpasses, would be less expensive, faster and safer than by sea.

💢 Israel - actually Netanyahu and Smotrich - is creating, inflating, manipulating claims of 'Hamas violence' in Gaza in the past few days, in order to justify their attempts to continue ethnically cleansing Palestinians.
Trump, the other day, forced them to re-open the Rafah crossing. He won't let them do this. The Arab investors won't let him allow Israel to do this. This goes back to the very logic of the deal itself.

He is saying a few big things.
1. He continues to assert that he has ultimate control over the IDF. This is a smack in the face to Netanyahu, but also has some truth content - not total, but it speaks to something real
2. He is threatening to do a 'reversal' - Israel wants to use these alleged acts of 'Hamas violence' to violate the ceasefire. But Trump is saying actually this is the pretext to now form and send in the ISF, the arab/egyptian/palestinian security force under 'Chairman Trump' (see the 20 point plan).

nb- Forgive that DD splooges a watermark all over reel their non-existent journalists didn't take from the WH. Their commentary about things is still intentionally deficient to the deficit of the interests of their readers and they know better, and they do not have a commitment to accuracy or good commentary; and humanity has a right to use footage to give improved commentary. I wonder if the realize that no one cares about it, nor will anyone start following their channel because of it. It's a ludicrous waste of resources, but also someone's job. I hope they aren't overworked being concerned with such trivialities. But they have a huge budget. Misused, but huge.
