Here is Jonathan Pollard describing what happened in 1973 when Richard Nixon issued an arms embargo against Israel during the Yom Kippur War.

Pollard claims that the Israelis threatened to use nuclear weapons against the Arabs if the US didn’t resume supplying them with conventional weaponry, going as far as arming a plane with a nuke and putting it on the runway.

Pollard then goes on to say that next time Israel should go ahead and use the nuke. (Israel is not legally allowed to possess nuclear weapons. The weapons it does possess were created in a secret nuclear program using materials that were stolen from facilities in America.)
