Comparing the move to Venezuela’s authoritarian tactics, Bolsonaro warned that Brazil’s democracy is being destroyed.

“They’re not defending democracy—they’re clinging to power at any cost. If I were allowed to run, I would win, and they know it.”

He called for a true democracy where leaders are chosen by the people, not eliminated by the courts.
