🚨Just In: Pavel Durov has been brought to trial after his detention in France. According to several reports his detention may be extended if he does not provide access to his phone.

Earlier Pavel Durov claimed during police interrogation that he was lured to France by an invitation from President Macron for a lunch meeting.

However, instead of the anticipated lunch, Durov was met by local police upon his arrival at the airport.

While President Macron has not officially confirmed this, French politician Florian Philippot suggested that such a tactic would align with Macron's style.
