​​Trump Denies Argument With General, Says He Would’ve Just Fired Him for Talking Back

Former President Donald Trump refuted reports of a shouting match between him and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, adding that he would have fired the general for simply “talking back.”

The claims first arose in Wall Street Journal reporter Michael Bender’s new book “Frankly, We Did Win This Election,” set for release in August, with an excerpt detailing a heated exchange between the two regarding last summer’s violent Black Lives Matter protests, Newsweek reported Monday.

The excerpt suggests that Milley and Trump had gotten into an expletive-filled shouting match after Milley told the then-president that he was an adviser and could not be put in charge of attempting to suppress the protests, Newsweek reported.

“I said you’re in f...cking charge!” Trump allegedly said, according to Newsweek, to which Milley allegedly replied that he was not.

After Trump allegedly told Milley that he can’t “f...cking talk to him like that,” Milley allegedly requested that a lawyer inform the president of his responsibilities, according to Newsweek.

Trump first made the denial of the exchange to Axios via a spokesperson, stating that it was “fake news” and that such an exchange never happened, also claiming that Milley had never talked back to him.

“If General Milley had yelled at me, I would have fired him,” Trump said through his spokesperson to Axios, claiming that Bender had never asked him about the exchange.

Bender defended his allegations to Axios, saying, “This exchange was confirmed by multiple senior administration officials during the course of hundreds of hours of interviews with dozens of top Trump World aides for this book.”

Bender claimed that the former president did not reply to inquiries during the fact-checking process, according to Axios.

🔺 According to the Associated Press, John McAfee had a suicide note in his pocket when he was found hanged in his prison cell. Spanish authorities are still conducting an autopsy on the body, but are already stating that it was apparently suicide. The note was reported by an official source familiar with the investigation, but not authorized to talk about the ongoing judicial investigation. He declined to comment on its contents.
McAfee's Spanish lawyer Javier Villalba said that the family had not been informed by the authorities about the note.

​​Trump Responds to NY Prosecutors as His Lawyers Argue Against Criminal Charges

Former President Donald Trump blasted New York City and state prosecutors on Monday over their investigation into the Trump Organization.

The story: The president issued the statement as lawyers for the Trump Organization with the office of Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance who convened a grand jury in May as part of its investigation into the group.

Vance’s office has been looking into the Trump Organization for more than two years and has reportedly been probing alleged bank and insurance fraud. Investigators have subpoenaed documents, interviewed witnesses, and scrutinized Trump’s tax records.

What he said: In a lengthy statement, the former president described the investigation as “a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt of all time” and brand prosecutors in New York who are probing the Trump Organization as “radical left.”

He accused them of treating employees at the Trump Organization in a “biased” manner.

“Radical Left New York City and State Prosecutors, who have let murderers, rapists, drug dealers, and all other forms of crime skyrocket to record levels, and who have just announced that they will be releasing hundreds of people involved in violent crime back onto the streets without retribution of any kind, are rude, nasty, and totally biased in the way they are treating lawyers, representatives, and some of the wonderful long-term employees and people within the Trump Organization,” Trump railed in a lengthy statement.

“After hundreds of subpoenas, over 3 million pages of documents, 4 years of searching, dozens and dozens of interviews, and millions of dollars of taxpayer funds wasted, they continue to be ‘in search of a crime’ and will do anything to frighten people into making up the stories or lies that they want, but have been totally unable to get,” Trump continued.

The former president claimed that the investigation is politically motivated.

“They will do anything to stop the MAGA movement (and me), even if it involves prosecutorial misconduct and harassment of a political opponent, which they are using at levels rarely seen before,” Trump added. “They leak, they lie, and they campaign based on information that has already been gone through in other of the many investigations I have put up with.”

Trump also said that they gave the group only one day “to make our case about things that are standard practice throughout the U.S. business community, and in no way a crime.”

“These Witch Hunters are relentlessly seeking to destroy the reputation of a President who has done a great job for this Country… Washington D.C. and ultimately, the U.S. Supreme Court, should finally stop these vicious, angry ad highly partisan prosecutors. They are a disgrace to our nation,” the former president concluded.

Worth noting: Trump Organization attorney Ronald Fischetti said Monday that based on the conversation with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, which he did not attend, that the president will not be charged at this time. Vance’s team, according to Fischetti, said any indictments will have to do with tax issues within the Trump Organization.

“They just said, ‘When this indictment comes down, he won’t be charged. Our investigation is ongoing,’” Fischetti told Politico.

“We asked, ‘Is there anything else?’ They said, ‘No’,” Fischetti explained.

DeSantis Criticizes Biden Over Border Crisis: ‘It’s Got to the Point Where Texas is Doing it on Their Own’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) slammed President Joe Biden (D) in an interview over the weekend over Biden’s border crisis, saying that he believes that the crisis was “intentional” because the administration believes in “open borders.”

The segment comes as Biden’s border crisis has continued to worsen with apprehensions of illegal aliens last month hitting a staggering 674% increase vs. May of 2020 when 23,237 illegal aliens were apprehended, The Daily Wire reported. Last month’s numbers were the worst numbers in more than two decades.

“Why won’t Joe Biden manage the border?” Fox News host Mark Levin asked DeSantis. “Why won’t Joe Biden enforce federal immigration laws? Why won’t Joe Biden put in place policies that have an orderly way for people to apply to come into the United States? Why is the border wide open with all the mayhem and anarchy and all the horror that’s going on down there? What is Joe Biden’s motive here?”

“Well, I think it’s intentional, Mark,” DeSantis responded. “And I’m not sure how much Biden is engaged in this. But certainly a lot of the people that have the sway in the White House on a day-to-day basis, I believe on an ideological basis, they believe in open borders. Now, the public is strongly against what’s going on there. So I think they’re taking a toll, it’s taking a toll on them politically. But they knew by undoing Donald Trump’s policies, which were succeeding, that this would happen, it has happened.”

“And they really show a disregard for all the problems that emanate as a result of this, the people that are trafficked, all the drugs pouring across the border, increasing lawlessness,” he continued. “So it’s got to the point where Texas is doing it on their own, Arizona, they asked other states for help. So Florida has stepped up. And we’re gonna send folks to help stem the tide of what’s going on down at the southern border, but it’s a clear failure of leadership. But I do believe that this is an intentional policy rooted in an open borders ideology.”

It should be very eye-opening to everyone that not a single Democrat, Dr. Fauci or anyone from their side showed up to the hearing on COVID origins today.

Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America

Just like in the 2020 Presidential Election, it was announced overnight in New York City that vast irregularities and mistakes were made and that Eric Adams, despite an almost insurmountable lead, may not win the race. The fact is, based on what has happened, nobody will ever know who really won.
