A county in rural Nevada is moving towards renaming a road after Trump.

The county commissioners voted 4-1 to make Old Dayton Valley Road, “President Trump Way.”

Trump got 69% of this county’s vote.

A county in rural Nevada took a step toward naming a stretch of road after former President Donald Trump.

Commissioners of Lyon County, Nevada, voted 4-1 on Thursday to rename Old Dayton Valley Road to “Pres. Trump Way.”

“He was a good leader as far as I’m concerned, he supported law enforcement, he supported our military, he supported the rurals,” said Republican Commissioner Ken Gray.

Trump carried 69% of the county’s votes, equating to a 41-point margin, against eventual winner President Joe Biden, according to the Nevada state government’s 2020 election results. Republicans swept the county in the election, beating every Democrat who ran for office.

​​Former White House Physician Calls on Democrats to Follow Through on Cognitive Demands and Test Biden

Texas Republican Rep. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician for Donald Trump, called on Democrats to follow through with their prior demands regarding a president’s cognitive ability and have President Joe Biden assessed.

Following speculation on Trump’s mental aptitude one year into his presidency, he agreed to take the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) – a 30 point exam that tests for memory impairment.

“The far left and the mainstream media were demanding that be the new standard for anybody who’s going to lead our country and be our Commander-in-Chief and our head of state,” Jackson said in an interview with Fox News on Saturday. “I’m just saying I agree with them at this point — we need to get it done.”

Jackson, who administered the test for Trump, explained that the exam is not an IQ test, but rather a standard test for age-related issues, including dementia and cognitive decline.

The White House said last month that Biden is scheduled to take his physical exam “later this year” – which if done before next year would be completed sooner than his predecessor’s health exams.

Both Trump and Barack Obama took their exams at the start of their second year in the Oval Office.

But Jackson pointed out that the White House has not said if the cognitive exam will be included during the president’s health screening.

The freshman Texas Republican argued that Trump set a new precedent regarding a president’s mental assessment – a sentiment at one point shared by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.

In October 2020, Pelosi introduced a bill that would create a bipartisan commission of health advisors to evaluate the ability of a president to serve in the highest office in the U.S.

“This legislation applies to future presidents, but we are reminded of the necessity of action by the health of the current president,” she told reporters last year. “It’s not about any of us making a judgment about the president’s well-being.”

Republicans have voiced their shared concerns when it comes to Biden.

“I think he’s demonstrating every single day that there is something going on,” Jackson told Fox News. He added: “You don’t need to be a physician to look at this behavior and see there’s something concerning happening.”

The fake news never stops.

DeSantis did not attend Trump’s rally in Florida on Saturday.

He was dealing with the Surfside disaster.

The media attempted to spin that and claim there was some rift between the two.

Mike Lindell Says He Believes Donald Trump Will Be Reinstated on August 13: Report

Ever since Joe Biden became President on Nov. 3, there have been multiple claims that Donald Trump will be reinstated in 2021.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell is one of the people sticking to this belief. A recent report by Mediaite gave more insight into Lindell’s thoughts, and what he actually thinks of the matter.

“The morning of August 13, it will be the talk of the world, going, ‘Hurry up! Let’s get this election pulled down,” he said to Brannon Howse on Worldview Weekend Broadcast Network, Mediaite reported. “Let’s right the right. Let’s get these communists out, you know that have taken over.”

He said that he believes “there will be many down-ticket senators that will have different election results.”

“You’ll see when I say that, and they’ll say what’s going to happen to all the people that were involved. I don’t know, right now the biggest concern is getting this election pulled on,” he said. “Donald Trump won. It’s pretty simple, ok?”

New Social Media Site Gettr Hacked Hours After Launch. Jason Miller Responds.

The new social media site Gettr, which was founded by Trump spokesman Jason Miller, was briefly hacked shortly after its launch on Sunday.

What he said: Miller told Reuters that the hacker(s) altered a few usernames and that they successfully prevented the attack from going further “in a matter of minutes.” He also highlighted that more than half a million people have signed up for the platform.

“You know you’re shaking things up when they come after you. The problem was detected and sealed in a matter of minutes, and all the intruder was able to accomplish was to change a few user names. The situation has been rectified and we’ve already had more than half a million users sign up for our exciting new platform!” Miller said in the statement.

In detail: Salon writer Zachary Petrizzo shared screenshots showing that the usernames of accounts belonging to prominent figures, such as former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green (R-Ga.), American Conservative Union Chairman Matt Schlapp and Miller were changed to “JubaBaghdad was here, follow me in twitter :).”

Petrizzo reported that the “hack occurred around 10:10 AM EST.”

A Twitter account belonging to the username “JubaBaghdad” retweeted Petrizzo’s screenshots of the hack. The account, whose denoscription reads, “We work in the darkness, but serve the light,” has since been locked.

How we got here: Miller announced the launch of Gettr last week. The Twitter-like platform is billed as a “non-bias social network” with Miller claiming it’s a “direct challenge to the social media oligarchs from Silicon Valley” and their “woke tyranny”.

“Gettr is the marketplace of ideas. We will not cancel people for their political opinions, and Gettr offers far more features and better technology than anything else out there,” he added.

Former President Trump has not joined the platform and it is unclear if he plans to create an account on Gettr. Miller has said that he hopes the former president would join.

​​JD Vance Says He Regrets Past Criticism of Trump

Ohio Republican Senate candidate J.D. Vance says he regrets the since-deleted tweets in which he criticized former President Trump.

The story: Vance, the author of the memoir “Hillbilly Elegy” who is a former US Marine and venture capitalist, launched his campaign for a Senate in Ohio last week. In recent days, he has come under fire for tweets he posted in 2016. The tweets, which have been deleted, were flagged by CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski.

In the tweets, Vance said that he was voting for Evan McMullin, who ran as an independent during the 2016 presidential election, and took aim at Trump, calling him “reprehensible” because of his views toward “Immigrants, Muslims, etc.”

Vance has also said that Trump gave the white working class “an excuse to not look inward and to not ask tough questions about themselves and their communities,” Daily Best columnist Matt Lewis reported.

What he’s saying: Vance said on Monday that many people criticized the former president during the 2016 presidential election and that he regrets his past comments about Trump.

“Like a lot of people, I criticized Trump back in 2016,” Vance told Fox News’ Alicia Acuna during a Monday interview.

“And I ask folks not to judge me based on what I said in 2016, because I’ve been very open that I did say those critical things and I regret them, and I regret being wrong about the guy. I think he was a good president, I think he made a lot of good decisions for people, and I think he took a lot of flak.”

“I think … the most important thing, is not what you said five years ago, but whether you’re willing to stand up and take the heat and take the hits for actually defending the interests of the American people,” Vance said.

Vance also highlighted that he thinks Trump was “a good president.”

Worth noting: Vance recently visited Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Florida in hopes of getting his endorsement.
