The Guardian: President Trump intends to leave Russia and Ukraine to organize a meeting between their leaders without directly playing a role for now, according to administration officials familiar with the situation, taking a step back from the negotiations to end Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The next stage in Trump’s eyes to end the war in Ukraine remains a bilateral meeting between Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president, the officials said.

Trump has told advisers in recent days that he intends to host a trilateral meeting with the two leaders only after they have met first, although whether that initial conference takes place remains unclear and Trump does not intend to become involved in that effort.

In a phone interview with talk show host Mark Levin on WABC on Tuesday, Trump also said he thought it would be better for Putin and Zelenskyy to meet without him in the first instance. “I just want to see what happens at the meeting. So they’re in the process of setting it up and we’re going to see what happens.”

I am so honored by Justice David Friedman’s great words of wisdom, which should be read by everyone. I would also like to thank the Court for having the Courage to make this Decision, which is already going down as one of the worst business persecutions in the History of our Country. Sadly, there are other Cases against me that are equally disgraceful, including those headed up by Corrupt Judges, like Juan Merchan, whose daughter collected Millions of Dollars in Fees from Crooked Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, while her father shockingly REFUSED TO RECUSE himself from a vicious and corrupt trial, which is also under Appeal, one in which every Legal Pundit in New York said, “THERE WAS NO CASE!” — Even Editorial Boards said, “DO NOT DO THIS!” Judge Merchan gave me an unprecedented Gag Order, not letting me talk about him or his daughter, or the fact that the Appellate Judges thought he should not be doing the Case, but he did it anyway. Many Lawyers said that his daughter and him created the Greatest Conflict of Interest they had ever seen. Judge Lewis Kaplan, the other remaining Case, whose wife, family, and friends attended his two trials, is as mean and nasty as anyone I have ever met. That Case, also on Appeal, should also never have been brought, and he should be admonished for Abuse, and every other thing that can be thrown at a Corrupt Judge. He loved the publicity, and would not let us present the irrefutable evidence that we wanted to present. This Clinton appointed Judge should not be allowed to get away with this SCAM….”

I want to share some updates with you on another big week for the FBI’s “Summer Heat” initiative to crush violent crime.
 
-Our agents and partners across the globe worked together to arrest a man accused of trying to entice a minor after he fled the U.S. to avoid charges in an FBI Jacksonville investigation.

-Big News out of FBI Albany where Operation Tidal wave is crushing violent crime in that region. This week alone in Albany, 200 law enforcement partners from 20 agencies made several arrests including the owner/operator of a commercial sex enterprise. This investigation also led to the seizure of more than 130 weapons---one of the Largest-Ever Firearms Seizures in the History of the Northern District of New York.

-FBI WFO continues to support law enforcement in Washington, D.C. by deploying teams of special agents on nightly patrol shifts.

-We’ve taken down several key players of multiple neighborhood gangs across the country wreaking havoc in our communities---trafficking drugs, committing robberies, assaults, murder, and human trafficking. In addition, another arrest occurred of one of our Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitives, Cindy Rodriguez Singh, the FOURTH Top 10 apprehension since January. 
 
This week, the FBI and our partners made 180 arrests, bringing the total since the start of “Summer Heat” to over 4,700. In all, we’ve also taken over 1,000 weapons off the streets and recovered 270 children.
 
We remain committed to working with our federal, state, and local partners to combat violent crime, protect our communities and uphold the rule of law. Together, we are making real progress.
