With less then a month to midterms the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee told the Washington Post that they are outspent and that certain house races won’t get the funding they need to run a proper campaign. They explained to the Washington Post that they are in a tough position and have to determine which races warrant additional funds for television ads.
It’s easier for the democrats to set up the narrative that key house races were lost due to lack of advertising funds, instead of explaining to donors that it has more to do with their policy position in those states.
This reporting contradicts the position of Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, who said this week on Stephen Colbert that they will keep the house for 2023.

Teachers union opposes Ohio legislation allowing veterans to be teachers
The Ohio Teachers Union opposes a bill in Ohio that would lesson the requirements for veterans to become certified as educators.
A bill introduced in the state Senate would allow school boards across the state to hire military veterans as teachers and be deemed to hold a teaching certificate.
The veterans would have to have spent at least four years of active duty and been either honorably discharged or medically separated and meet other qualifications, but not the same training and licensing requirements as other teachers.
