- FIRB ticked off the sale of several significant Australian assets.
- Sydney Airport after a $24bn takeover bid by a consortium of super funds led by NY Private Equity Firm Global Infrastructure Partners.
- Energy Provider Spark Infrastructure to a consortium led by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) and the Ontario Teachers' pension fund in a $5.2bn deal closed by end of 2021.
- Electricity juggernaut AusNet to Brookfield in a $20bn takeover deal.
- Healthscope and its 42 private hospitals
- Brookfield now located in the Cayman Islands
- AfterPay sale to Block was cleared by FIRB in November 2021.
- Josh Frydenburg after the Healthscope deal approved the sale of nursing home empire Aveo to an entity in the tax haven of Bermuda.
Once Morrison became Secret Treasurer the deals on the table and the size of the deals escalated.
- At the time of being ousted from Parliament by the May 2022 Election Australia's Largest private hospitals operator Ramsay Health Care was being sold to a "consortium of financial investors" by by US private equity giant, KKR in a leveraged buy-out.
