The US Food and Drug Administration has approved British drugmaker GSK’s new mRNA vaccine for the prevention of measles, mumps and rubella for those aged one and above. (Reuters)
The jab, Priorix, can be given in two doses and may also be a supplement for those who have already received a first dose of a measles vaccine.
The manufacturer GSK is currently spinning off its consumer health care business, and is focusing on vaccines and drug manufacturing.

The World Bank has approved a $1.49bn boost to financial aid backed by guarantees from the UK, Netherlands, Lithuania and Latvia to Ukraine to take its total financing to $4bn.
