While the giant wind turbines are an environmental disaster that keep chopping up birds en masse, many break down constantly, explode, they can't be recycled, are non biodegradable (meaning, they don't decompose, they pollute nature indefinitely in the dump sites) and barely create any energy that's worth much.
That said, these seem to be better at not kiIIing birds, due to their heavy traffic locations and low height and its a great idea to use the wind created by passing cars to create energy. The energy claimed to be generated (if correct) seems to be impressive. Cons: The issue about most likely being made of the same non biodegradable and polluting material as the wind turbines still remains.
